the audio book took me a day and a half to finish

I've had this book for years and regrettably never finished the physical copy. The audiobook I finished in a day and a half. I officially end in love with audible now. This book was very helpful for me and my mindset of starting my 2019 off. I'm changing my strategy so I can be more active and have a more open and fulfilling personal life. this book gave me new insight to a lot of things and I look forward to putting them to practical use. Anything that helps you broaden your horizon of how other people live their lives especially in regards to a subject as sensitive and grounded to us all as our sexuality is something that must be thoroughly researched and expressed. I recommend this book

Useful insight on alternatives to monogamy

What did you love best about The Ethical Slut?

I liked that the exercises throughout that helped the readers put the material into practice in their lives. I also appreciated hearing different lifestyles and what works for other people.

Have you listened to any of Janet W. Hardy and Dossie Easton ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not listed to any others, but I would be open to the experience.

Any additional comments?

I've never considered myself an orthodox monogamist and this book provides a lot of information on how to handle that lifestyle.

Written by the right people

this book is written by an MFT, and it shows. most content on this subject is opinion , whereas this book truly presents what is psychologically healthy.

whether you simply want to learn, or are interested in trying these things yourself, this is probably the best book to come to on the topic.

Revolutionary as expected.

Not only is her voice soothing but she manages to capture emotion in her story telling abilities.
the world needs books like this to heal.

Narrator quiet, good info to think about

Yeah, I'm 1/2 way thru this, but I can barely hear parts of what she says, she just has a quiet, muffled voice, I'm pretty fed up. But I need the info in this book so.. BLAST THE STEREO IN YOUR CAR, and I have some amazing equipment in my DJ studio and I actually have to raise the volume to 3/4 of max to hear every word. As for the content, i've been putting people to shame with my approach to learning more about Poly, studying up before I make bad mistakes, some of the more experienced I know never did any research into the subject they just "did it". I think that some poly people could benefit because they bring up a lot of possibilities, and all sorts of details I never thought of. it's a thoughtful book, it has valid points. IF I CAN HEAR IT!! thank you to the authors.
