Truth is, as Black women, our self-confidence is constantly challenged due to stereotypes, false beauty standards, and societies that don’t respect us.

Hence, it is crucial for us to uplift ourselves and not only say affirmations, but truly identify with them.

I liked it.

At first I prematurely I didn't like it.I've never knew we had a book on the market of affirmations for black women,I'll milk it for all it's worth unapologetically.

Why this book is not narrated by a black woman?

Great book. However, it is hard to believe in the affirmation because it is not narrated by a black woman. It makes a big difference.

Change the Way You View You!

I appreciate these affirming words ❤️. It serves as a great reminder that there is so much more to me than my downfalls. So instead of me focusing on what's not working right, I can now focus on what's great about me!
I also liked the pauses after each affirmation, so you can really think about what you're saying.
