Three friends walked around the suburbs, playing with a basketball. They came upon an abandoned farm. After exploring the farm and finding nothing of particular interest, they were just about ready to head home, when one of them accidentally threw the basketball into an old abandoned well. Naturally, they decided to retrieve the ball. But never in a million years could they have imagined the dark danger that awaited them there....

Francis Davidson, his wife, Jodi, and her brother, Stephen, are driving home from a birthday dinner when Francis decides to take a shortcut that he had used years before. As they drove along, a town came into view: Grensville. This town was not on any map. Surprised by the conservative style of all the buildings and bewildered by the lack of residents, they set out in search of locals. In their search, the trio began to notice strange things happening. How could this fun little side trip go so horribly wrong for them?
