Story
Hidden in the heart of Atlanta, a pristine forest shimmers with magic, but an unscrupulous developer plans to flatten Silver Park - unless two brave women can stop him. Arden Collier risks losing her home. Parker Gozer owns most of Arden’s secret forest, which is rooted in Atlanta’s rich African-American history. As Arden struggles to reclaim her artistic voice, Parker confronts the man who once preyed upon her - and now wants to spoil a rare urban oasis. Both women fight to protect the place that has tangled itself around their hearts like flowering kudzu vines.

Story
At the age of 18, Yvonne set out to build a home from trees on 80 acres she bought on an Oregon mountainside. In 1975, log by log, she creates a cabin and heals from an orphaned past, finding a new family in the forest and with people in a valley named John Day. Babe in the Woods: Self Portrait is the second in a three-book series. It chronicles a span in Yvonne's four decades' long relationship with her log cabin and the people she meets in the valley. The audiobook continues Yvonne's story of learning to live in the wilderness within and outside of herself.

Story
It's been a week since the funeral, and Mali is at her mother's Manhattan apartment, ready to pack it up. At least that's what she thinks, until she discovers a manila envelope propped up against the back of her mother's desk, and filled with a mass of unsent letters. Her mother's handwriting on the lined notepaper is so familiar, and the slight German accent Mali hears ticking through her words, so haunting.

The Nazi regime and the Jewish Holocaust are historical events we try to understand knowing that we will never succeed. How could all this happen? Would the Jewish State have been created without Hitler, without Nazis, and without the Holocaust? Is this the price the Jews had to pay in order to have a state?

Story
Following childhood trauma, Susan pursued ever-increasing social and emotional isolation, eventually finding herself living in the Montana wilderness, dissatisfied and uncertain why. Shouldering her backpack, she heads into the woods seeking inspiration, maybe answers. The adventure derails as tragedy forces her to acknowledge festering wounds, confront the scars beneath, and seek catharsis, forgiveness. My Father's Indian: How a Butterfly Split the Oak is a touching amalgamation of the poignant, amusing, and unpredictable, yet ultimately a tale of friendship.

Story
Television actor Renato Rizzuti's first children's book is a throwback to early 20th century juvenile fiction, when the world knew rhymes from books not rap, from Dr. Seuss not Dr. Dre. The stories, told in verse, switch from teaching kids about why zebras have stripes to accepting racial equality amongst peers. Each tale's length is concise enough for a young one's short attention span.

Our ability to prevent and reverse these conditions—and feel incredible today—is under our control and simpler than we think. The key is our metabolic function—the most important and least understood factor in our overall health. As Dr. Casey Means explains in this book, nearly every health problem we face can be explained by how well the cells in our body create and use energy. To live free from frustrating symptoms and life-threatening disease, we need our cells to be optimally powered so that they can create “good energy,” the essential fuel that impacts every aspect of our wellbeing.

There has been much debate over how we got here, and what to do next, and bestselling author and social psychologist Jonathan Haidt is at the white-hot center of that discourse. Haidt has spent his career speaking wisdom and truth into the most difficult landscapes—communities polarized by politics and religion, campuses battling culture wars, and now the perfect storm contributing to a public health emergency for Gen Z.
