The one thing you have to remember if you are dealing with either a toxic sibling, or a parent, or both is that, in the end, they are narcissists. That means they are in it for themselves, that they want and need to see themselves as your superior and that they will do some evil things to you to maintain that illusion. It’s simply who and what they are, and you cannot change them.

We all know that a happy marriage is never natural. It requires a lot of love, patience, and understanding between two people. If you often find yourself wondering whether you are the only one who was making efforts to save your marriage or you are not happy with the way things are working out, maybe it is time to let go.

Most of us believe when we marry that our marriage will last forever. The longer we are married, the more convinced of this we become. If you are among those, this book is for you. Living with a narcissist can impact your life as a whole. Your self-esteem would start to change. Your mental health might be affected. Then, you would begin to lose yourself. Since you love the person, you’re trying your best to save your relationship. But when things get harder to control and manage, a breakup or divorce might be necessary.

A breakup or divorce is stressful and complicated. Feeling hurt after a divorce or breakup is normal. As time goes by, the pain and wound might heal. But it is easier said than done. Acceptance should come first before anything else. Don’t be in a hurry. Take your time. You will be a different version of yourself in the future.
