This 10,000 word short story won an honorable mention in 2017 from the "Writers of the Future" contest. It sold twice prior to its first publication in my collection, "Through A Wine Glass Darkly," published by the Australian publisher, "Gypsum Sound Tales. The first two sales were to a magazine in the UK. I got paid, but it went out of business before publication.
