The puppy Peter, devoted to both the outlaw and Nada, follows him through everything; as we listeners hope these two people get back together and find happiness in this fine work by James Oliver Curwood.

An old fashioned mystery that will have the listener guessing from beginning to end! A classic whodunit filled with plot twists. When our detective hero Carlton Davies is called to the home of Ruth Darwin late at night, he once again can't help wondering what it was that forced her to marry Phillip Darwin, a powerful banker. Ruth and he and been engaged until suddenly she broke off the engagement. Hinting at some sort of blackmail, Carlton once more takes up the search to find out what it was only to find Ruth with a (literally) smoking gun in her hand.

A classic and hilarious comedy gem. Filmed many times, with great popular success. The complicated storyline involves a rich businessman's son, Travers, who learns of a planned burglary of his house and decides to dress himself up as a policeman to confront the legendary criminal (and also to alleviate his own boredom)... From here on things get really complicated and funny, as the criminal pretends to be Travers and as the criminal's girlfriend shows up; also believing him to be Travers!

A gloriously touching romance by Captain Charles de Créspigny, with a nicely nuanced and observed central character that grows to a noble soul. This character, a soldier of WWI; wakes up from injury only to gradually discover through his damaged memory (partly) that his day-bride has remarried (believing him to be dead)... The soldier decides to re-invent himself and his life completely from scratch - this proves to be a tall order indeed.

A nautical mystery by Francis Marion Crawford unfolds for the listener, raising more puzzling questions than immediate answers: a boat crew find themselves minus one crew member (supposedly a twin brother) after a storm. But was it really the twin brother that went overboard? In that case, why is his presence felt so strongly? What actually happened during the fateful night? Who is it that is actually missing?

This piece by Robert F. Young is all about the fascinating topic of time travel and the possibility of there being many copies of oneself in doing the traveling! The present year is 2178 and time travel has been illegalized. One highly skilled time traveler, Tom Mallory, decides to steal the Holy Grail, so as to be able to see out the rest of his days in prosperity. Of course, things will prove to be not so easy.

Our hero, named Hollister, is an emotionally scarred war veteran returning home, but finding social life very difficult. He migrates to a remote place in British Columbia where he starts to feel he can begin to breathe again. How will the rest of his life now turn out? Will he continue to grow as a human being? Will he find meaning and satisfaction in small things, out here in the hidden places? A wonderfully profound and old-fashioned story by Bertrand W. Sinclair awaits the listener!

Our hero, Code Schofield, is quite in a predicament: he has lost his boat in an Atlantic gale a while back, and finds himself presently viewed upon with disdain and suspicion both by his community off the coast of New Brunswick, and by insurance investigators... Has our hero something to hide? This is a wonderfully atmospheric and suspenseful tale by Frank Williams for aficionados of sea and mystery!

There are not many clues, mostly just disturbing details, such as a chilling laughter that she keeps hearing... Could the mysterious and dangerous figure of the Grey Phantom be involved in this in any way, good or bad?
