Story
Waking the Tiger offers a new and hopeful vision of trauma. It views the human animal as a unique being, endowed with an instinctual capacity. It asks and answers an intriguing question: Why are animals in the wild, though threatened routinely, rarely traumatized? By understanding the dynamics that make wild animals virtually immune to traumatic symptoms, the mystery of human trauma is revealed.

Story
Audiobook narrator Peter Larson and his wife Hannah head to his hometown of Maple City to help Peter's ailing father and to put a recent tragedy behind them. Though the small, Midwestern town seems like the idyllic place to start afresh, Peter and Hannah will soon learn that evil currents flow beneath its surface. They move into an old farmhouse on the outskirts of town - a house purchased by Peter's father at auction and kept secret until now - and start to settle into their new life. But as Peter sets up his recording studio in a small basement room, disturbing things begin to occur.

Story
Glimpses of Eternity tells us that family and friends are often swept into the firsts moments of their loved one's journey from this life to the next. Dr. Moody calls these "shared death experiences." This is the first book to talk about this beautiful aspect of our spiritual connections with one another. Entire families gathered for a loved one's passing all see a bright light from an unknown source. Some witness a gentle mist rising from an unknown source. Others tell of accompanying a family member halfway to heaven.

Tom Lewis weaves the story of these men and their achievements into a richly detailed and moving narrative that spans the first half of the 20th century, a time when the American romance with science and technology was at its peak.

In 2030, bopper robots in their lunar refuge have found a way to infuse DNA wetware with their own software code. The result is a new lifeform: the meatbop. Fair is fair, after all. Humans built the boppers, now bops are building humans... sort of.
