Publisher's Summary

An evil army threatens to destroy all of Minecraft in the third Gameknight999 adventure!

The ghast king Malacoda and the terrible enderman Erebus have led their monster army to the server that houses the Source: a virus with plans to destroy Minecraft and all the digital lives on its servers before escaping once and for all into the real world. Only Gameknight999, the user-that-is-not-a-user, and his small army of NPCs can stop them. But the monster horde is growing bigger by the day, as if they are being helped by an unknown someone...or something.

A secret lurks in the shadows as Gameknight and his friends race across the server - a secret with evil, glowing white eyes. To defeat the monsters of the night, Gameknight will first need to find out how monsters are being created so quickly. His quest will eventually take his army into a different dimension altogether, where an island floats ominously in the void and a deadly creature flaps its gigantic wings.

I love it, but needs work

I read the book already and it seemed nice. I was interested in how it would sound, and I also needed to read something in my plane. But the narrator NEEDS work. He makes everything sound boring.

FIRST BOOK I HEARD AND AMAZING!!!

I wasn’t that into Minecraft at the time, Mostly and hilariously because I was scared of the villagers and Claimed that one killed me in my sleep my first time trying, I was listening to My favorite dragon story: My fathers dragon. On Alexa, Suddenly this turned on I loved it.. I can relate by being bullied by a kid saying: “YOU CAN’T PLAY SOCCOR BECAUSE YOUR A GIRL!” I hated that, So I turned to this. I kept listening throughout the series and Then thought: ‘Maybe I can try some more Minecraft’ and I exactly did that, First me and My cousins made a survival world, Defeated the ender dragon and made a giant city in the end, I quit that server when I suffocated from a dumb thing: THE END PORTAL!!!! Anyway I took a break from survival and tried Creative. It was amazing, I built an amazing city and My friend made a realm for us to do just that, It ended up getting griefed so we made HopeCraft season 1. We finished that and are working on season two. Have a great day/night! Don’t be too scared to do something you want to! Great read, Recommended

Monotonous

This book got boring very quickly. The author uses the same sentence structure over and over and the narrator has quite a nasal, barely emotional style of reading.
The story is predictable and tedious to get through.
Some descriptions of the bad guys aren’t for kids either. Vivid depictions of merciless violence (and murder) towards men, woman, and children.
If I heard correctly, the author, at one point, described pain “raping” the main character’s body.
Cool concept but poorly executed.
