Story
It's totally normal to fall in love with an audiobook narrator's voice, right? Right. Just ask Vera, who listens to "her" guy whenever and wherever she can: while driving, working, parenting, cooking, cleaning, showering...you name it. But now, she's bringing him into the bedroom. And her husband is less than pleased.

Story
You Never Can Tell was originally born out of a bet that Shaw couldn't write a "seaside comedy" (a popular theatrical genre at that time). The result is perhaps the most surprising of Shaw's plays, complete with marital mayhem, tangled romance, and even doubtful dentistry. Despite the play's lighthearted tone, it's really another of Shaw's brilliantly observed social treatises, this time in the guise of a light comedy.

Story
What is it about the garden that suits it to literary murder? Perhaps it is the poisonous plants, sharp tools, shady corners, and ready-made burial sites that make gardens a mainstay in the mystery genre. Perhaps it is the gardeners (and writers) themselves, with their “natural malice toward weeds, rodents, and other garden undesirables. Rare is the gardener who can approach a slug without homicidal intent.” No matter the motive, gardening and writing are enduringly linked. In her new book, New York Times Best-Selling author Marta McDowell explores this deeply rooted connection between ...
