Story
In September 2000, I was sitting on a bench facing the Mediterranean Sea in the French Riviera town of Nice. I had flown there during a three-day break in the Pan Am Flight 103 bombing trial in Camp Ziest, Netherlands, where I was expected to testify. As I sat on this bench eating lunch, I suddenly found myself overwhelmed by emotion. It was an awakening: I realized that my being there was the fulfillment of one of my many life dreams and goals that were launched thirty-one years earlier from another bench facing the Three Sisters Ponds in Baltimore’s Druid Hill Park.

Story
Today, men and women are running around empty, trying to fill a void within with other things like busyness, addictions to work, high debt, making idols of your children, alcohol, drugs, pornography, serial dead end relationships, and sex without commitment. My audiobook is about recognizing the wounds we all have from growing up that handicap us until we face them and overcome them.

The fate of the Union and the emancipation of slavery were at stake in the national election of 1864. It was the most important election in the history of the United States, and a beacon of hope for the world. This is the story of how Lincoln mastered language, and how his words changed public perspective, drove home emancipation, reignited the ideals of freedom and saved democratic government. In all he said, Lincoln’s words speak freedom to peoples the world over today as in 1864.

Story
The Vietnam War put a once-proud nation in turmoil. During the height of the conflict, the antiwar movement caused civil unrest in America. Young men evaded the draft by fleeing to Canada, claiming conscientious objector status, homosexuality, or marriage with child. But author Rick R. Garcia, the only son born to Hispanic parents, got caught up in the 1969 lottery draft. Pop Smoke, Birds Inbound chronicles Garcias story as he was shipped far away to the land of hush-a-bye to fight in the most controversial war in which the United States ever participated.

Hey, I’m Italian is an insider's look at growing up Italian in New York. Abducted at gunpoint, being bitten on the nose by the family dog two days before my wedding, and paying for a lavish Hawaiian honeymoon only to learn that our travel agent had absconded with our money, were but a few of the events that shaped my life. But growing up Italian in New York, well that can really shake you up.

Story
This audiobook is based on the autobiography of Hamid Bey, titled My Life Preceding 5,000 Burials, telling the dramatic story of the life of Master Hamid Bey, who could control his heartbeat to three beats per minute and put himself in a trance. This is how he was able to be buried alive and come out breathing just like you and me. Bey also was able to stick pins in his body with no visible marks to be left, and he appeared on the old Ed Sullivan Show to demonstrate his ability to withstand weight when he had Mr. Sullivan stand on his body while he laid on a bed of nails.

Story
Anyone who starts listening to this book will think it is a biography, but this book is much more than that. It is a book for brave people willing to get out of their problems and achieve all their goals. God gave us many gifts and virtues, and many of those virtues are tacitly within this book by way of examples, stories, and anecdotes of the author's real life to plan a better future, be successful, and never give up!

Story
The author decided to write Trapped in My Mind for herself and for others who have experienced disturbing moments in their lives. She underwent the most unpredictable and painful episode that a human being can go through. She hopes that sharing this experience with you will teach you and herself how to make a difference in the way people interact with one another - that together we will learn how to love and be compassionate and caring. However, she fears that all is gone now. What you are going to listen to is not a work of fiction, nor is it a love story.

Story
This audiobook is to capture life’s essence for all who hear it. May your heart sing a tune of relief for life’s happenings. Release the power of love throughout your being. Take a moment to close your eyes and hear from within the empowerment to live. Life Happens—Why Stay! came from a scattered place, where I ask for the wisdom of God to do what I couldn’t do or dare to. To discover that, in spite of everything that was going on, I was given breath to stay one more day. Guess what: I’m happy that I stayed!
