Thank you, Cambridge-Isanti, for a wonderful season full of wins, losses and learning. The friends we've made and teammates we've played with have started a chain reaction of experiences in your lives that will change you forever. Have a wonderful summer, congratulations on finishing school, and we hope to see you all for next season and all seasons to come. Stay connected with each other throughout the summer and continue to work on the skills you've learned this year.

A special thanks to the people who have worked behind the scenes as board members, the coaches, and the high school prep kids who volunteer their time to make this lacrosse club possible.

The Cambridge-Isanti 12u team played back-to-back games at the Mounds view Irondale High School. The first game was against Orono, sadly the team was defeated with an end score of 8-4. The second game was against the Mounds view team by a score of 7-2, but the kids of Cambridge-Isanti never quit and for being the first games of the season, they really showed some passion for the game!! Blue Jackets on 3. 1, 2, 3...Blue Jackets!!!

In today's episode, i was graced with the presence of a woman who has played lacrosse on the world stage for Team China, she's coached for Minnesotan High School teams, she is currently the Director of camps and tournaments for Homegrown Lacrosse. Her name is Jing Peng and she has a lot to say for new players and improving players. She shares her fitness knowledge for players. We discussed world Lacrosse and Lacrosse on the Olympic level. It is a packed episode and she was a FANTASTIC guest. Thank you to Jing and thank you to Homegrown for letting me hang out at Capella Tower.

The kids had fun at the Try Lax event and a few players even jumped on the microphone today. This was a fun episode of Kids say the darndest things/Lacrosse edition.

In today's episode Brian talks with Matt Ripley, the Vice President of Northland Lacrosse Officials Association. They discuss rules, how the officials see and call plays, understanding how Face-off specialists can be the best cheaters (they know it's true). Matt is a fountain of knowledge and has so much passion for the game of lacrosse that its hard NOT to feel his excitement while listening to the episode.

The goal of this show is to help educate and entertain the families in the community of Lacrosse and promote the sport to new people who might not know what Lacrosse is! We hope families can join the fun and help promote/support the team. Laxday's are Wednesdays and we want to get the students to wear their Lacrosse SWAG to school!!
