Cute Hockey Romance with Dastardly Parents, Jealous Coworkers and one slime ball slum lord.

This book was delightful. Well written with great character. The meet cute between the MMC and FMC had me laughing out loud.

She thinks he is a total nutter. He thinks she is a b1tch. But when they meet again they realize life is gonna be tough when they are forced to work together.

My only gripe was that the book wasn't longer.

Witty, Fun, & Addicting - A Hockey Romance I Love

This audiobook was quite enjoyable from start to finish. I really loved the narrators for both main characters — they brought so much personality and depth to the story. The author did a fantastic job giving the male character a distinct and entertaining voice, which made his internal dialogue especially fun to listen to.

I enjoyed the constant push and pull of Colby’s feelings for Clarissa — the classic I hate her… no, I want her… wait, am I in love? dynamic kept things entertaining and relatable. And we definitely can’t leave out how well the added heat and chemistry pulled you into the story and kept things engaging.

The side characters, especially Colby’s teammates, also played an influential role and added a lot of humor and heart. There were many moments where I found myself laughing out loud, then immediately looking around to make sure no one had heard me giggling. Overall, this was a fun, lighthearted listen with great narration, strong chemistry, and plenty of laugh‑out‑loud moments.
