    Building is key to life. No matter what it is, building people, places, and things are inevitable. Every day something is being built, and this is part of staying consistent and mastering consistency.

    You have worked hard to get to the end of this book. You have put in the work, the time, the thinking, the applying, and the evaluation of where you would like to go now.

    So, ask yourself that simple question…. “Where do I want to go now?”

    Listen, as I was thinking about writing this book back in September 2020, it was just a thought that I had put so far away from myself. I actually started a podcast called, “Your Life Tips with Coach Paul,” with the intent to transcribe all of the content for you. You can find that podcast on all your favorite podcast apps. So, when I began to create the content, my biggest mission was to serve you to the best ability I knew that I had. Building is really my thing, and building YOU was definitely my intention. You have heard very little about me, but as you have read through these tips, you can definitely get to know me.

    Every tip was to build because too much in life is tearing you down. You have every capability to own every tip in this book because this book is about building you. Now it is your turn to go and build someone else. Maybe you want to write a book, start a podcast, start a company or ministry…. Whatever that looks like to you, get after it!

    This is Life Tip #101 and the “1” extra is the extra step or effort you put into all the 100 that you just completed. See, the 1 that comes after your completion is letting you know, that the race is never truly over. Push yourself daily for 1 more task, 1 more hour of rest, 1 more person to build, 1 more child to hug, 1 more wife to kiss, 1 more man to admire, 1 more mother to love, 1 more father to embrace and one more reason to thank God YOU are ALIVE!

    The only thing that would ever hold you back is YOU!

    Life is all about improving yourself if YOU choose to do so!

    Listen, as you are in your consistent zone, there is always room for improvement. To improve is to make different, not necessarily better. If you are always looking at making yourself better, you will at some point disappoint yourself. What you will learn in this journey, is that when you set yourself apart from others, you will be that difference that people want and need to see. This journey has nothing to do with being perfect, it has all to do about being YOU.

    Being you is the most important part of life. Life will have many roads traveled, experiences traced, and outcomes that are unbelievable. You will meet so many people along the way that you had no clue that when you started a certain path, that you would become closest friends, business partners, and brothers or sisters. In this life of digital media, there can be so much lost and disconnection if you only follow someone on a screen.

    Improvement for your life also consists of connection with others, not a follower. Likes and follows will only cloud your judgment if you are not careful. Do not get caught up in all the hype of apps, groups, clubs, pages, and or books like this. That's right, this book too can get you caught up in being like someone else. This is why it is important that you do the game plan side of these pages. Make this book your own. Own what you read and what you take in. Own your light, and own your voice!

  • Power Tip #99 yield and re-frame

    You may not need this life tip. However, if you are that person that is just about being on the move, and constantly trying to make things happen, with no self-care…. You will definitely trip over this life tip. But…. there is hope! Remember a few chapters ago, you decided to shift your mindset? Well, here we go.

    To yield means to slow on down to oncoming traffic, so that there is no collision.

    So, in your consistency stay on the move, but keep focus and yield when going into your new season. This tip is not to damper your progress, rather it is here to help you in navigating your process. If there is never any downtime to yield, you will constantly be in motion that will actually cause a collision like “Mental Burnout.” This is a place that you definitely want to look out for. When you see the signs in the sands of life, take heed to them, they are there on purpose.

    What is the purpose? To Re-Frame your action steps. What worked a few months, may not work today. The mindset you had a few days ago, may not work today. Life throws a ton of curveballs called “Experience” and in those everyday experiences, there are new circumstances that just may challenge your old way of thinking.

    This goes the same for ideas, planning, goal setting, and vision. When you yield, now you can take a few minutes, hours, or days to Re-Frame and execute your plan accordingly. Now, doesn't that sound better than pushing after pushing and causing a collision that will not only cause you to stop but causes the whole train behind you to stop and pile up.

    Listen, It is important for you to slow down and enjoy the roses…..

  • Power Tip # 98 repeat

    Pretty simple, right? Just repeat what you did…. Unfortunately, not everyone continues to repeat. But not you….YOU committed to reading this book in the beginning unless you are a book troll. LOL. If you have reached this point of the book and this last portion of training, why would you not repeat it?

    Repetition will cause those “Good Ruts” in your life to be established deeper and deeper, and the further you go for positive action, there is no way under heaven that results in won't appear. Even though you are not only focused on the result, every day there will be a result of the work you have put in. Work is the #1 thing that will definitely be at the forefront of your life. This all will take work, even to repeat.

    See, because as you repeat day in and day out, you will come to a place where you will plateau in all of your work. This is where we dive into the next Tip, you will see that yielding to the process will allow you to reframe your workout.

    But, DO NOT STOP THE REPEAT in your life. Repetition is key for you to keep it moving! And as you keep it moving, those healthy choices will cause you to feel confident within yourself to keep ongoing. And guess what? Others around you will not only be inspired, but they will begin to ask you how you did it. This in turn is what is called the “Ripple Effect.” The ripple effect is like throwing a stone into a small pond of water, as the ripple moves from the center outwardly, it begins to send force through the entire body of water and you see the effects as it comes to shore. This is the same with your life. Making a difference in the world that you live in.

  • Power Tip #97 Consistency takes action

    Have you thought of the person that you trust to keep you accountable and help keep your mindset? You may already have one since accountability and the mindset is what this entire book is really about. If so, it is time to take action, time to move, time to take the smaller steps to the bigger vision so that you can execute attainable results.

    The writing of this book took every bit of endurance and perseverance, but in order for anything to bear fruit, action during consistency was a priority each and every day! Action creates movement, movement creates momentum, momentum creates patterns, patterns create a habit and altogether this is what consistency looks like.

    In order for a habit to present itself, there had to be movement. If you can picture a rut in a yard, or a stream from a huge rainstorm. The rain began as sprinkles and moisture hit the ground, then the droplets turned bigger and heavier with greater water(which is rain) and began to saturate the ground. If there is grass, typically the rain will soak into the roots, however, when you have open soil, water begins to stand and has to divert somewhere. Water finds the least resistance and begins to spill over from what was a small puddle and there goes the trickle of water creating ruts in the soil, and causing a stream to occur. If the rain lasts a long time, the stream is now creating current and it may widen and create other tiny streams of water. The movement of water is what created the habit, and all together action and consistency are what brought forth streams.

    Everything worked together to create a stream.

    So, here is what to think about….. What actions or habits are creating good or bad ruts in your behavior?

    How can you improve in each one for a better outcome?

  • Power Tip #96 Consistency is a mindset

    The mind is a very intricate part of your life and one of the most important things in life that you must protect. Your mind can take you to places that will paralyze you if you are not careful. You must look into your mind and resolve any issues against yourself that you have allowed to play over and over, year after year, day in and day out...hour after hour to the last falling minute in your life. Your mind can literally destroy your outcomes as long as YOU allow the enemy of your life to continue to speak to you. This enemy is a real thing. This enemy has only one desire for you and that is to KILL YOU! This enemy has not only been around in your life but in the life of the person that birthed you and probably the person before that. These cycles of mindsets must be taken into obedience, in order for YOU to overcome that enemy!

    Who is that enemy? Satan, devil, imp, demon, and everything that wants to destroy you. His job is to send one dart to confuse you, place doubt into you, and fear of winning. You may have carried these attributes for far too long, and you may feel that there is no coming back from this mindset. Well, I am here to tell you today, YOU can make that change.

    See, the enemy came to steal, kill and destroy… however, the owner of your life came to give life and that life more abundant. But, you have to believe that you can operate in victory. You have to convince yourself that you are not your past. You have to be willing to let that mindset that has driven you to such complacency, go. But, as you learned with Life Tip 95, you will need that accountability with and for yourself and someone else in order for your mindset to shift.

    Your challenge today is to speak life into your atmosphere. What does this mean? Speaking life is affirming yourself today.   • Power Tip #95 Consistency consists of accountability

    Accountability is the most vital key for you to commit to consistency. When you are accountable, you are positioning yourself for a breakthrough, and in that breakthrough, you will discover the pearls in your life that have been covered for so very long. These pearls are the result of underlying friction and frustration, that as you begin to commit to accountability, will slowly begin to come to the surface of your life. These pearls are the gifts that you were born with, but somewhere along the way, you may have experienced the loss of the gift from self-doubt or self-sabotage.

    The accountability that is before you is not what you may think. You may or may not be thinking that it is going to take a coach, trainer, therapist or counselor. Although those things can be vital to your life, the accountability that you begin with is YOU. YOU are where it all starts. If you are not willing to commit to yourself, then none of the above people will be able to help you through this process.

    Being accountable also consists of a decision. And that decision is all about where you see yourself and the ability to make it happen. See, life is full of choices and deciding factors that come into play, and the choice is yours to make. For those that are reading and are believers in Christ, He has created you with all the decisions from His Word, and that Word lives inside of YOU! The choice is yours, and the choice must be made in order for anything to happen in a positive way from here on out.
