Regeneration for mind and body

I've long been in the habit of sitting at my desk with the mindset of "I'll just finish this." I just keep going and going, forgetting to stop, get a drink, or even stand up, and I decided it was high time I changed my ways.

After reading the description and other reviews, I decided that this audiobook would be ideal for my needs and would help me break away from my somewhat sedentary routine - And I must say that I was not disappointed. Moved Balanced has put together a book that has helped me relieve stress and tension, become more focused, and think more clearly, all while improving joint health and mobility. I found adopting the 30 minute mindfulness and mediation practices into my working day has been much easier and far more enjoyable than I expected.

This wonderful audiobook has inspired me and motivated me not to revert to my old habits. It is definitely worth a listen and comes highly recommended.

Good yoga exercises

I have been practicing yoga for past 15 years and the title struck me as interesting and I wanted to know further. This audiobook contains good yoga exercises for anyone. Practicing yoga regularly will maintain our physical and mental health and boost out immunity. Definitely recommend.

Precisely what I needed!!

“Yin Yoga for Desk Dwellers” is a fabulous book that focuses on restoring the body and mind, and relieving tightness and tension in your body particularly if you sit for long periods. In my case, I have had issues with my low back for many years, including tightness in my hips and pelvis, neck, and shoulders, without naming all my medical problems, coupled with my tendency to sit too long at my desk this book was the perfect fit for me. I often do stretches and yoga and other exercises, but this audiobook focused on the specific areas I needed to stretch and helped me immensely go from the things I was already doing to adding more to my repertoire. I love the title it’s catchy, and it is perfect for those of us who have to use a time or apple watch to remember to STAND UP every hour! Now we can do some Yin Yoga too! Thanks, MoveBalanced! I highly recommend it!

Great Resource and Insight

I highly recommend this audiobook! As someone who works remotely, this audiobook comes in handy for daily use. The use of hip flexors, posture repair and limited screen time are ideal examples of what makes this book great. The book provides easy to follow guides in yoga poses to calm the mind and ease the stress within. This is a must listen.

A Good Reminder!

This audiobook serves as a poignant reminder of the numerous benefits that practicing yoga has on one's physical, mental, psychological, and spiritual health. Having previously practiced some of the Yoga poses outlined in this book, I was already aware of its positive effects. However, since transitioning to a job that involves sitting for prolonged periods of time, I have been unable to maintain my regular yoga practice, which has adversely affected my overall health. Consequently, this book serves as a timely reminder and reassurance to resume practicing Yin Yoga, as I require it now more than ever before due to my desk job.

The book focuses on water chakra or sacral chakra, which is the most significant chakra in our bodies, influencing our overall health in numerous ways. This book is particularly beneficial for individuals who work long hours while sitting and consequently experience muscle tension, as Yin Yoga is the optimal practice for releasing tension and restoring the body's equilibrium. Thanks to “Move Balanced” for the timely reminder and for providing me with a means to regain my overall health by resuming a regular yoga practice.

Great Book

With our current sedentary lifestyles, and increased stress and anxiety, it’s important to find ways to de-stress and relax, but it’s hard to find the time. This book does a wonderful job of providing a set of yoga poses and postures that both de-stress the mind and relax the body. It provides several sequences you can follow, and it’s set up where you just listen and are guided along the practice. It’s an easy way to relax, release, and stretch your way to restored clarity, focus, and improved joint health.

Very important for my well-being!

Being in the best physical and mental shape is very important to me, both physically and mentally. This material is offered for my "me time," which consists of pretty good yin yoga sequences that I practise whenever I stretch and meditate, which is at least two hours a day.

I find that by following this routine, I am able to maintain my composure and focus throughout the day. I also think that caring for both my physical and mental health is crucial to my overall well-being. In order to stretch me and improve my mindfulness, I also like incorporating various breathing exercises into my yoga practice and attempting new yoga poses.

If you sit at a desk all day read this book!

I have to sit at a desk 8 hours a day, my back and legs are killing me, this book helped me stretch and stay limber while I am sitting. I feel so much better now. If you sit at a desk, start with this book.

The Perfect Work From Home Companion!

If you're like me and work from home at a desk all day, you absolutely need to add this to your other office supplies! I loved going through the Yin Yoga sequences during the short breaks I had between meetings; they provided a little boost of energy as I moved from one Zoom room to the next.

The book provided clear, step-by-step instructions on how to perform each yoga pose, making is easy to follow along as you listen. The narration was perfect to provide a zen-like feel while performing the poses which helps to decompress throughout the work day as well. My job is rather taxing, but I could tell an immediate difference in my mood and energy the few times I used this during day. Highly recommend!

Very Instructive and Practical.

These structured guided yoga exercises in this audiobook could not have been so helpful to me better than now when I have felt so many muscle arches. The guided instructions are easy to follow, and enough time is given for slow movements and deep breathing. The three-and-a-half hours of yoga exercises are designed for the total body which makes it comprehensive and worth the price.
I found the 360 Spinal Mobility yoga exercise very beneficial because it worked well with my spine base.
This audiobook is highly recommended for those like me who desire to improve their physical strength, body balance, and flexibility. I have found it very useful and will incorporate the exercises into my daily routine.
