George and Lou used to be thugs for hire. Now they're living in a shack in Costa Rica, hiding from the crime lord who wants them dead. Their last job, to deliver him a werewolf in a cage, went...badly.

But they can't hide out forever, and when they're finally captured, it seems as if George and Lou's ultimate fate will involve being doused in gasoline and set aflame. Instead, they're given a second chance. There's another werewolf out there. This time, it's Ally, a 14-year-old girl.

Kidnapping a teenaged girl is a major conflict with George and Lou's moral code, but they also aren't fans of being brutally executed, so they agree to the job. After all, the crime lord doesn't want to kill Ally - he just wants her to bite him. They'll snatch her, deliver her as promised, and then do everything they can to return her home safely. She doesn't even know she's a werewolf; it's not as if she'll create any complications by transforming.

Of course, this is George and Lou, so there are many, many complications.

The worst of which is that they've now enraged three other extremely nasty werewolves....

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love Lou!! He is a softy and yet he can be very scary, too.

Do not want to give anything away, but I wonder if there will be a Wolf Hunt 3 due to what happened in this one??

Great follow up

This was a fun follow up to the first book in the series. Poor George and Lou just can’t catch a break and that’s what makes them so darn relatable. The performance by the narrator was really well done.

Jeff Strand writes a mean sequel.

You just gotta love George and Lou. I didn't think that Jeff Strand could outdo Wolf Hunt 1, it was such a great story, but he showed me wrong. Congrats. This was a delight. Eugene was a great character too, a messed up one for sure but he added a lot to my enjoyment. I must point out that I am quite saddened by the turn of events that will force George to find another partner if ever there is a Wolf Hunt 3. But I'm convinced that Mr. Strand can pull it off. If I could have myself a third arm sewn on I'd give you a three thumbs up, great job.

Thug Life II - Better and Better

I was so so happy to see another Wolf Hunt. Just as the other was, this one is just as great!!

Spoiler: Losing one of the team really hit me hard, I know it had to go the way it did, but wow, he is gonna be missed. :( :(

Another wolf to hunt (a young innocent one this time), more danger than before, and extra info into how and why there are werewolves. Excellent story and excellent narrator.

By far this is one of my very best favorite stories!! Keep em coming plz.

Laughs and werewolves

I’m loving this series. George, Lou😪, Eugene, and Allie are giving the werewolves a run for their money. I really love the characters and pace of this series. Fun and fear all wrapped up in a book. Any book that references The Princess Bride is great in my book. Glad I own the 3rd book.
