Weird but a fun listen

Could not quit listening even if I thought this is beyond belief. Good fun entertainment.
Great narrative. Extra star for imagination!

VERY FUNNEE!

A fun premise, great characters, and a stellar performance by a very talented narrator. This book hits the ground running and keeps right on going. Full of action, a bit of gore, and lots of amusing give and take between the characters. Highly recommended if you are feeling a bit down, but even if you are doing just fine this book is still guaranteed to make you laugh, giggle, and guffaw. A real gem currently being offered up by Kindle Unlimited. Check it out!! ☺️. Also, this is the first in a series so seems there’s a lot more from where this came from…..

Should be on everyone’s next read list

The is well written action thriller, with a lot of comedy thrown in, is an excellent choice. The plot sounds ridiculous but the characters are delightful and the story has nice twists. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and hope for a sequel. The narrator is great and I really cared about the characters through his reading.

Interesting Enough

This would make a decent Netflix series. As a book, I think the sweet spot is a high school audience.

The unique plot

This book was great! It keeps you in the edge of your seat the entire time. I loved the unique plot line.

ridiculousness of the storyline

there are so many impossible plot holes that it's laughable, however, the execution is pretty good and the characters are solid. Don't know what to say about this book

Wonderful fun!

Oh, what a fun book! The characters and the story are works of a grandly creative mind, and one that can really write. I happened upon this author only because of his book appearing as a Daily Deal, and what a great deal it was. I WILL now look for more ‘listens’ by this excellent scribbler.

I noticed that a reviewer mentioned the narrator’s difficulty with female voices. Granted, but I’ve nevertheless rated narrator Darcie at 5 stars because of the unflagging enthusiasm he brings to the entire effort, making the performance perfect, to my ears, for this SO enjoyable work.

A bravura performance by author and narrator both; I’m hoping to find them teamed up on other titles. My sincerest thanks to them, and to everyone at Audible!

OK. The plot was too big.

Saving the world is a big story. This book didn't quite live up to the task.

Grabbed Me Right Away

Not what I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised. I almost never laugh out loud while listening to an audible title, but chuckled out loud a few times. Sometimes corny humor is the best.
Plot is pretty good, and contrary to other reviews, I LOVED the narration
I believe I will most likely listen to this one again at some time. That is the best recommendation I can think of, other than maybe this...Now I will go look at other titles by Mr. Konrath

Slow start, however you get hooked from there on.

Enjoyed it, and recommend it to everyone. Give it a listen and I think you will agree too
