light airy story. not to be taken seriously.

It's a little too light for me. It is clever and well written. The protagonist is likeable. I don't really understand or like poligamy,that only comes in at the end. I don't think the writer really understands it either.

Suit le for all ages

Much better reader than the first book. This is an interesting and attention holding tale suitable for all ages. I thoroughly enjoyed it and intend on reading the next in the series.

Good story but missing end notes.

The story is complete but there were endnotes in the paperback which are missing in the audiobook. The endnotes had additional information about the story such as what had been on the smudged page, the fate of the spriggans, the dragon and a few other items.

Wonderful reading kept me entertained for the entire time, makes me want to read more by this author.

What an enchanting story! I loved every minute of it! The story was filled with Magic and wonder! I can't wait to cracks open another book :D
Lawrence-Watt Evens has always been my favorite writer!
The Narrorator was very clear and used different voices! He captured the characters very well!
