Publisher's Summary

From Ilona Andrews, New York Times best-selling author, the thrilling conclusion to her Hidden Legacy series, as Nevada and Rogan grapple with a power beyond even their imagination.

Nevada Baylor can't decide which is more frustrating - harnessing her truthseeker abilities or dealing with Connor "Mad" Rogan and their evolving relationship. Yes, the billionaire Prime is helping her navigate the complex magical world in which she's become a crucial player - and sometimes a pawn - but she also has to deal with his ex-fiancée, whose husband has disappeared and whose damsel-in-distress act is wearing very, very thin.

Rogan faces his own challenges, too, as Nevada's magical rank has made her a desirable match for other Primes. Controlling his immense powers is child's play next to controlling his conflicting emotions. And now he and Nevada are confronted by a new threat within her own family. Can they face this together? Or is their world about to go up in smoke?

Just as wonderful as Daniels world and Innkeeper.

Look, these guys know what they are doing and are the best at what they do. I love a good story. I sincerely hope that they either are contracted for more books or self publish. One should never throw away a good adventure. I have a feeling that Nevada and Rogen have more clever stories to tell and I am deeply saddened if I cannot tag along with them.

HOT DAMN! ITS HERE. ITS HOT. ITS SMOLDERING.

"HOT DAMN! ITS HERE. ITS HOT. ITS SMOLDERING. ITS ACTION FILLED. ITS MAGIC DRENCHED. ITS PAST FACING. ITS TIME FOR THE TRUTH. I got all I anticipated and then some. Wildfire brought just that wildfire. There was an intensity to this read that made it stand out and feel a bit different from the other two. This time around the past of both Nevada and Connor come front and center. One with a past unknown. The other with a past that could change the future. All comes to a thrilling ride with its ups, downs, twist and turns. Action, adventure and magic everywhere.

The Baylor’s have arrived and that show that clearly with not one, not two, not even three but four of their clan taking front and center to make the Baylor clan a house to be reckoned with. Nevada shows her stuff and even shows up a few. She can make a grown man cry a few tears. I just have a sneaky suspicion that grandma will not give up so easily. Though what they went through was not easy by any means.

Ilona Andrews has delivered a knock out series with a serious one-two punch. The Hidden Legacy series was fun, entertaining, action filled, adventure fueled, and magic enchanted.

OK, I want more :)

This series, like the Inn Keeper Series, while in some ways formulaic, keeps one's interest from start to finish. There are always twists and turns - just often enough to keep one off balance. At the same time, I enjoy picking up on details that become central at a later point in the book. Red carnations, for example. These stories keep my attention on what could be boring drives. Not so. About to run out on all three series and about to be frustrated.

Can’t wait for more.

One of my favorite authors, I devour everything that is written and this book is just as delicious as the Kate Daniels and Sweep series. I love the family in this book, they really are the backbone to all the fun going on. There is lots of actions, enough intrigue to keep you guessing and a nice romance. Can wait for more to come out. Ilona Andrews is an instant download for me. Love the narrator, she manages to make the characters come to life.

OMG! That ending??? WHY???

As far as conclusions go... this was an epic and perfect end to Nevada and Rogan. I loved every single moment of this listen and can't wait to listed to this trilogy all over again.

I didn't know how the conspiracy was going to be uncovered but I must say how everything unraveled was perfect....oh.... the tricky authors did not uncover who Cesar was but it's in the ending and to hide Cesar in plain sight had me screaming NOOOO! I definitely didn't see that coming.

There is so much that I loved about this book but if I have to pick my best parts; I would say uncovering Arabella's magic was memorable. Next, when Nevada and Rogan went all prime on each other in order to claim each other. When Leon declared what he intended to do with his magic was hilarious! I can keep going on and on and on....

My recommendation...Get this series... worth each credit spent I promise!!

beautiful

Both the writing and the audio are phenomenal, they are so good that on the occasions I don't have anything to read I'll go back and read one of these just to experience the brilliance.

Rise of House Baylor - Excellent trilogy end

While the series continues, this book 3 closes a big story arc.
I was a bit worried at the start. Like the previous two books, I found too many parallels between this Hidden Legacy series and the Kate Daniels series. The characters (Nevada/Kate, Connor/Curran), the fighting to loving romance between the leads, and the Nevada/Kate gets into trouble investigating something plots that inevitably start each book. And when this book started with the same plot as book 6 in the Kate Daniels series, with an old romantic interest reappearing in Connor/Curran’s life and leading to doubt in Nevada/Kate’s mind as to the stability of their newly formed relationship? I nearly bailed at the book summary.

Good thing I listened, however, as this book handled the involvement of Connor’s ex-fiancée better than the Kate Daniel’s treatment. Yes, this book once again has Nevada investigating a case that will quickly escalate into a potentially world ending cataclysm. But, the intrigue was better developed. There was better action throughout the book, involving both guns and magic. Best of all was the rise of House Baylor. I was on the edge of my seat cheering as the family comes together, each going all in to claim Prime status and all the consequences that carries. The finale was high stakes and heart felt. The stronger familial bonds make for stronger stories, and with this book 3, the Hidden Legacy series officially became my favorite Ilona Andrews series.

One of my favorite books

I love this world. Such a creative take on magic. I own all of the books in paperback, kindle and audible. Worth it. One of only 2 series I can say that about.

Narrator doesn’t fit character and tries too hard.

Just can’t finish it. Keep going back but not happening. Narrator doesn’t fit the characters.

Fun, sex and adventure

If this is what you enjoy then this book is you you! Nevada carries a sassy attitude that makes me laugh out loud. Rogan and Nevada’s relationship is an ever evolving one throughout the trinity of books, standing firm to be her own person without drawing on the ‘I’m a totally independent woman and nobody is ever going to interfere with that’. Great book will listen again.

Ilona Andrews and Renee Raudman never disappoint.❤

I haven't read a book by IA that I didn't love. Their books are packed with action, romance and kickass characters. Wildfire is just amazing.

The Narrator is the best. She is. Every character has a voice and a manner of speaking and she acts the scenes. She is a prime! lol.

Wildfire is a winner

After a long wait the 2nd and 3rd book came out very quickly. both were worth the wait. A fantastic series which does not disappoint in any way. I do hope there is another book in the series as I feel there is so much more that could happen in the world of the Baylor's.

Not long enough - story a little rushed.

I have really enjoyed this trilogy and felt it has a nice balance of fantasy in a real world situation. The narration is great throughout the series.

However, in this book particularly I felt that there was'nt enough Rogan! The two main characters spent much of the story apart and their chemistry is one of the best things in this series.

I also hope that there will be more to come in this series - even though this was described as the conclusion - as there were so many interesting characters introduced in this book and certain characters just started to discover their potential. There is also still huge potential for the plot to continue. So please write more Ilona!

This series is brilliant and captivating and I will definitely be listening to it again. I just hope this isn't the last we hear of Nevada and Connor.

Complex and compelling

Read/listen to the other books in the series first for best understanding as there are layers of plot upon layers. But the authors have a deft way of making it all make total sense within the world they built, and the well developed characters interact in completely believable ways. It's pacy and exciting, and the gentle humour stops it all from getting too dark. Total entertainment. Although there is a satisfactory endung to fhis book, the door is left nopen for another episode and I can only join other fans in begging fir more! Renee Raudman's superb performance only enhances the experience with perfect timing and characterization. Buy the audio version, it's so good!

Ilona Andrews has managed to right another magic story where girls kick butt. It is a great read that has left me awaiting the relief of the next book.

Eh

I didn't like the narrator's staccato yet slow style. I enjoyed the story a lot more when I read it myself. I'm listening to Audible versions of all my favorites and was pleasantly surprised by the fact I actually liked some of the books even more when well narrated.
I just finished a Nalini Singh book narrated by Angela Daw and the comparison is not doing good things for Ms Raudman - sorry. Dialogue acting is good but everything else is painfully drawn out yet still managed to be choppy and disconnected in a way that gave me a headache if I listened for too long.

Amazing story

Te story line, as always, was epic!
The performance not so much, he voices were ok but the rest was almost unbearable to listen too. She put suspense into the wrong sections, held back on drama in others
