Publisher's summary

Whispers on the Wind is a love story transcending time and space in a world where greed, power, and gold foreshadow doom to two once-thriving civilizations.

Mahinee and her three horses journey through a time warp to Lemuria during the war with Atlantis. With the backdrop of legend, myth, and the beginning of violent battles, and amid Atlantis' quest for power, Mahinee and her soulmate, Jonair, must escape the treacherous conflict plaguing Lemuria. Can those, who have a great passion for life and love, survive and escape with their lives? Or will the horrors of war destroy their destiny?

Perhaps true love is far greater and stronger than legend and myth, and more powerful than whispers on the wind. While the origins of most legends dissolve into the mists of time, true love continues on. The backdrop to Whispers on the Wind is Plato’s dialogues, and which might validate Atlantis’ existence. Yet, the poet and historian portrayed the people as plagued by greed and violence. The legend of Lemuria, written in the 19th century, describes a spiritual, peace-loving people of the same era. Which begs the question—what happened to Atlantis and Lemuria, and what part did Mahinee and Jonair play in its tragic end? Did greed destroy both civilizations? Did anyone survive, and if so, what ultimately happened to these once thriving civilizations and their people? And do the children and the lovers of Lemuria somehow survive?
