Loved it, amazing book, great performance by the narrator. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a romatic audiobook.

Love this!!

I really didn't know what to expect when I started this book. What I got after listening was a wonderful story and journey. My tastes run all over the romance spectrum and I can say this was a wonderful listen. The narrator did a great job with both male/females POV's. There was an accent which is always lovely. The story really sucked me in from the beginning and read in one sitting even though it was a long one. I truly want me a Niall of my own stat! I would have loved an epilogue to see more into the future as I am one of those people that need to know as well as what resulted from the villain in the story. It was an amazing story and truly loved it and felt it deep. We all know that not many books do that to us and I am so glad to have listened to this one. Fabulous job Ms. Howard. Give this one a try and you won't regret it.

So much more than a romance..............

When You Close Your Eyes is classified as erotica, but it has so much more to offer than just the sex. The sex scenes and overall sensuality of the story are integral parts of this book and extremely well written, but it is the interactions between and growth of the main characters that truly make this book special. Lark is a woman with a troubled past who left her life in the US and fled everything that she knew after a horrible betrayal by her father. She has made a new life for herself as a successful business woman with an equally successful fiance in London, but she begins to realize how empty this life is when she returns to her childhood home for her father's funeral. Even more importantly, she meets the literal man of her dreams in the attorney handling her father's estate, Neil. Watching Lark and Neil dance closer and closer to each other is incredibly enticing, and I loved the woman Lark became under his adoring attention. I think this novel combines all the best elements of romance, chick lit, light paranormal, and self discovery, and I encourage all readers to give it a try.

The narration by Geoffrey Boyes is amazing. He has a beautiful Irish accent, and he makes this already steamy story even sexier. Although he doesn't differentiate overly between characters, I felt that actually added to the story aspect of the book, making it seem more like the telling of a fairy tale than the performance of a script.

Intriguing!

This was my first Roxanne D. Howard's book. Lark and Niall are great characters. They share an undeniable and a sizzling chemistry. The storyline is original, romantic, steamy, emotional, and intriguing, filled with drama and suspense. The story has a great ending. Geoffrey Boyes did a good job with the narration.

Lark Braithwaught has been having sexy erotic dreams of the same man . It's getting to the point where its affecting the romance between herself and fiance , Charles. Lark receives an emergency message from her brother to come home for her father's funeral. There, she encounters the man that has been erotically tormenting her in her dreams. Her fathers lawyer, Niall. Their attraction to each other is electric and undeniable. But will she act on her feelings? what about Charles? Is he what she really wanted? This wonderfully written story by Roxanne D. Howard is loaded with lies, suspense, romance, drama, betrayal.
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this narration by Geoffrey Boyes. I was gifted this audiobook and offered my honest review.

Irish Dreams

The blurb is what drew me into this story. Dreaming about a hot Irish man and opening your eyes to find him standing in front of you. Swoon. Loved how he instantly felt protective of her but it didn’t feel like insta-love. Charles was a grade A a$$hole from the beginning and I’m glad Lark had her family to support her.

I was a little disappointed in the ending. I feel
like it could have had an epilogue or just a little bit more. I’d like to know the fate of Charles and maybe a short scene with Nialls family.

Steamy and Exhilarating Romance!

This Steamy and exhilarating romance captured my imagination right from the start. Lark is a strong, successful woman who seems to have it all. She lives in London and has a great job and sexy fiance. So why is she having hot and sexy dreams about a man she's never met? She is struggling between what is real and what isn't. When she gets a tragic call from her estranged family back in the states, she must race home. There she not only reconnects with the family she left behind, but she also meets the sexy man of her dreams. When her controlling fiance joins her in the states, she must decide if her dreams are real or not. This steamy and suspenseful story was a roller-coaster of emotions. It had me wondering what was really happening. Geoffrey Boyes did a nice job narrating this story. His accents and inflections were good, but I would have liked more distinct voices for each character. I also felt like I was being told this story instead of making me feel it. Other than that, I really enjoyed this unique, thrilling, and sexy romance.

This was a great book! I loved the characters. Lark was perfect. And I loved the ending. This was romantic and exciting. I wanted to shake some sense into them sometimes. lol I would reccommend this book to any romance lover. the dreams!!

OMG! What an amazing and emotional story! Roxanne has a very talented mind to come up with all of the twists and turns to keep my earbuds hot in my ears! Geoffrey Boyes is a great narrator! He did all the accents of the characters with emotion! Don’t miss this one!
