I always love a good story that the man falls first! IRS a beautiful story!

So amazing

The book as a whole was also amazing. It flowed so well. There where jumps in time between scenes but nothing that made me feel lost. The connection between Blake and Harper made my heart happy. I felt their relationship was a realistic one. It was also nice not to have any bad jump scares. Not all romance books need to have some serious situation to overcome. This book is definitely in my top 10 books of 2025. The audiobook is in my top 5 for the 2025! Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter 100% add to the story. They did such an amazing job with the dual narration. 100% will read and listen to this book again.

Best yet!

Blake is an absolute sweetheart and so patient is with Harper! They’re going to be great parents and Blake as a girl dad. 🔥🥵

Five Stars!

I fall further in love with the Blackwells with each installment of the series. I've admired Blake as the series progressed, especially how he cares for his niece, Birdie, but after seeing how he cared for Harper, I'm head over heels for the guy! I loved Harper's strength & resilience after what she endured, she absolutely deserved her happily ever after with Blake.

wonderful

I had a hard time trying to title this. the story was wonderful which hence the title. if you read all the tropes you actually already know pretty much some of the things that happened in the story it kind of gives it all away which in some aspects I don't necessarily care for because I did read all the tropes I am one of those people who don't even usually read blurbs of authors that I absolutely love and I absolutely love this author. this story is sweet and fierce and emotional it kind of hits all the buttons actually. I was anxious for this one just because the male character that you see in the other stories he is a flirt but never paid much mind to women because he was focused on his career and I'm finally glad to see that there's a woman who stopped him dead in his tracks. The narrators did an excellent job Jason Clark I swear can do no wrong He is such a phenomenal performer. and Stella Hunter is also one heck of a performer she played her character so well. I swear these two are part of the reason I listen to audiobooks they do such a phenomenal job. again the story is really good I really don't want to go through it read the tropes read the synopsis and just know that these two narrators bring this story to life and it is wonderful.

This book will have you blushing!!!

Reading Kristen Proby is like coming home. I loved this book. Harper and Blake were the perfect couple. Harper has trust issues and Blake is so patient and swoony. They are both married to their jobs. Hopefully they can steal some time together. The narrators were so perfect. Stella and Jason knocked it out of the park. Another brilliant book.

Wonderful Series

Blake and Harper meet on a plane in an emergency. They have an attraction to each other and have a fantastic night together. But she leaves in the morning before he wakes and he doesn't have her contact information. Then he finds out that she's a NICU nurse at the same hospital. Harper had a tough life but a local family who took her in. Blake is very patient with her and their chemistry brings them together. I really like this series and I'm looking forward to the next brother's story. The narration is perfect.

Loved Listening to this Story

I loved this book!! Kristen keeps writing these stories that I absolutely fall into and don't want to ever leave. I love the town she created and the characters are so easy to connect with.
I felt like this had a little bit of second chance vibes since it was a one night stand that find each other again.
Harper and Blake find themselves working at the same hospital and the sparks fly.


Blake and Harper have a great story and I hope you love it as much as me. There are so many swoony moments from Blake that made me fall even more in love with his character. Harper is one that is wanting to have a fresh start and focus on her work. I loved her determination.

When I listened to this audio, I just knew it would be one I listened to again sometime. Jason Clarke is the perfect selection for Blake his smooth but husky voice is just amazing to listen to. He is one that I always look forward to hearing. Stella Hunter has a beautiful voice with a sharpness to it that is great for Harper. She doesn't hold back the emotions on this one.

I can't wait for more from this family in this small town.

I was in love with this audiobook from the first minute.

Blake and Harper met on a flight during a medical emergency and had one night together. It was unforgettable, but neither of them expected to see each other again. Until she starts working at Bitterroot Valley General as a NICU nurse, and the chemistry between them is rekindled.
While Blake was a goner from the start, for Harper it’s not that easy. She’s been hurt before, but Blake is more than willing to wait for her. The swoon is strong with this one!

Ah, Jason Clarke as the he-falls-first protective doctor who is more than honest about his feelings for the only woman he’s ever wanted… Perfect. I love how he always goes from growly to romantic to everything else and gives it his all in every hero.
Stella was spot-on as Harper, the strong girl with the heart of gold who shares it with her family and her patients. I loved how her voice ran the gamut of emotions and how she made me love Harper even more.

This audiobook really brought out the way they communicated and how much they're meant to be. You can hear it as they give in to their feelings, as they fall in love slowly and surely, and as his family welcomes Harper into the fold.
Hearing her find a home in Bitterroot Valley was everything.

The spice meter was off the charts but matched them 100%, and while hot, it carried a level of emotion too. I loved hearing them surrender to each other and the want and the love and how I was able to feel all of it, even when those three little words weren’t said.

More than anything, I loved how natural this book sounded with these two talented voice actors. The way Jason conveyed how Harper is the only one for Blake and how she became his everything. The way Stella showed me how Harper started to trust that what they had was real and worth fighting for until she was able to love fully.

One night to forever in an audiobook that might make you blush but that will leave you with your heart full.

Swoony. Emotional. Hot chemistry. All the things.

This book was just the best! I had a rollercoaster of emotions. I laughed, swooned, was angry, felt all that spice, was teary eyed, was ready to fight and swooned some more. I loved how well Harper and Blake communicated with one another. It was refreshing. I loved how Harper had a big found family. I loved how Blake stood up for himself and Harper over and over. I loved more from previous characters. Loved how they are so ingrained in one another’s lives. Makes the story feel so real. I loved that the story has a Bookclub. Makes the reader in me so happy. Love that these ladies love smut. I loved how well Harper and Blake fit together. When you know you know, even if it’s fast. I was also teary eyed so many times during this book. I also love how perfectly this book set up the next story. So good!!
