Each to their own, not for me

Repetition as a device. The subplots in “What I Did” that gets mentioned over and over, the "before/now" chapters that come in blocks – it's meant to put the listener in Lisa's looping, foggy headspace. I didn't click with her and it just felt redundant. While I have great admiration for Kate Bradley’s writing and the brilliant narration by Antonia Beamish in “What I Did,” this Audible Plus title ultimately failed to win me over. Recommended? Perhaps for others. I did find “What I Did” during Audible’s awesome August Sale for the extremely low price of $2.82.
