The commitment and character of the main characters.

I enjoyed the history that was shared in this story. I loved the characters and how the story stayed true to God’s word. I really recommend the book.

Good Christian drama.

All characters contributed to a moving story which held my interest until the end . Needless to say there was no objectionable language or intimacy.

Historical detail

Christian based love story with a historic setting. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series

The Faith

Heather Wood does journeys of faith so well. I love how realistic the struggles, doubts, and truth with grace all come together in stories that warm the heart and edify the soul of the reader. I especially enjoyed seeing the spiritual warfare surrounding education all those years ago and how it compares to our world today. Many things are different, but ultimately they’re the same. A reminder that there is nothing new under the sun…just like scripture tells us. The audio version of this book was fantastic.

I love that it was a story on several levels of peoples battles with faith. As well as battles with everyday life events.
