Candy is hunted like an animal and won by an arrogant shifter who doesn't even want her. She doesn't care that he's a king. So what if he's really good looking and that underneath all that bristling, alpha male is a sweet guy. Although sweet is probably not the right description for the savage, water king.

The only thing he's interested in is mating her, so that she can pop out lots of dragon shifter babies. Well, no thanks! She's not interested. As soon as she's able to get that through his thick skull, she's out of there. Torrent promised her she could leave if things didn't work out between them and she plans on holding him to his word.

This book can be listened to as a standalone but would be best enjoyed as a part of the series. (Start with Chosen by the Vampire Kings.) Please note: The story contains strong sexual and violent themes/language and is not intended for listeners under the age of 18.

Stella Bloom and Sebastian York are great narrators. I love this series. I would recommend it to anyone.

Worst Cliffhanger Ever!!!!!

OK. A couple things....... First, what is the point of two narrators taking turns reading whole chapters? Why wouldn't Sebastián voice the male characters and Stella voice the female ones? When I saw that there were two narrators, I was hoping to avoid the weird testosterone laced female voices from Sebastián. It just creeps me out. Second, when will the rest of this series be recorded???? What is the hold up? Only two out of the six books available on Audible is just mean. :<

I have read this series and wanted to listen to it as well! I love the two narrators and wish they did all this authors audio books!

Where does Water Dragon rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Over all the book is great. The story is a one sided for most of the book. I feel the guy gets shafted for most of the book. Although he does do some things to deserve some of it Again it's a good book worth a read/listen.

My second go around with this book and it was even better the second time. Hunky Dragon men that just want a mate. What more could a girl want? Find out in the fun read of Dragons on the Hunt! Enjoy

Favorite from Dragon Series

It has been so much fun listening to the audio version of Water Dragon. Last year I read every book on Charlene's Bride Hunt series and I must say these books are pure fantasy and escape. Love them.

As far as Water Dragon, it is my personal favorite. Maybe because it was the first book out of the series that I read. I am so happy to say that the audio book does not disappoint. I loved how this little human woman can bring such a big and powerful Dragon to his knees and make him self reflect. Yes, there are some cheesy elements in the story such as an escort pretty much acting almost virginal and like a prude, but remember this is a fun fantasy book.

Additionally, there is some steamy alpha sex along with some tender moments. I also got an extra bonus because the male narrator is one of my personal favorites. Sebastian York is an amazing narrator. I was actually surprised that he was the narrator for this book because he typically does more contemporary romance. books. As usual, his voice was so perfect and sexy for the part. It was the first time that I have listened to Stella Bloom and she was amazing as Candy and does a wonderful job alternating her voice for different characters. She has that fun and ditzy type of voice, but she is not annoying. She was perfect for the part. If you like fantasy, shift changing paranormal novels, then this book will not disappoint. 5 stars for the narration and story.

Please!

Candy is a straight up trip; it never ceases to amaze me how the script is flipped to make Torrent the villain with a female with a screwed up past; on top of all of the great things and leeway he gave Candy, it’s sickening that she is allowed to call the shots. Unbelievable! The narrator did a good job with characters.
