I love the cliff hangers

I know. "I love the cliff hangers" is a crazy thing to say for the title of my review, right? The way these books are written is cool. They hit you with the cliff hanger, but it's not open to interpretation. For example, the last one said " Adrian has been shot". Then, you start this book and you know through the entire story that it's going to happen. Because I didn't have context, it kept me on pins and needles the whole time. This way of story telling is new to me and I like it. I now know what happens in the next book and I can't wait to see it unfold! lol I'm telling you , this writer is changing how I see cliff hangers.

Voices

I couldn’t finish the audio because there is an issue with the woman’s voice , it changes from sentence to sentence like there are two different people. I don’t mean like inner thoughts and actually saying but like robotic.

Amazing Narrators!

Listening to the audible their voices pulled me in from the very beginning! Adrian and Skylar are hot and their story is one you won't want to miss!

Tim Page and Kelsey Navarro are fire!

This book is so great! I absolutely loved the story and the narration! This is the 4th book in the series!

I need a protector!!!

This is one of the best books I’ve read in a while. The narrators are a perfect match for the characters in the story. They have a way of bringing the characters to life in a way that brings you into the story. The story of Adrian and Skylar is great. The way he takes care of her and protects her throughout the whole story is so sweet.

I just can’t say enough about this Series Maggie cole is a amazing write and I listen to all kind of books on audit but hers are my Favorite on the Edge of your seats sexy just full of everything can’t wait for the next one and the man o yummmy

I'm addicted to these stories! They keep adding more and more new jaw dropping information about their saga! Great book but I will say that the female in this book did complain alot and was totally impatient about waiting to find out his story. But overall, still a great book!

THEY JUST KEEP GETTING BETTER AND BETTER

This series is becoming my guilty addiction and I’m loving the characters, the romances, the tangled webs and the interconnecting storylines that run on from one to the other. Adrian and Skylar’s tortured love story was fraught with emotional conflict because Adrian had been emotionally damaged by his first wife and was determined not to make the same mistake again with Skylar. So he withholds his truths from her.. but the more he does the more Skylar begs for answers.. until her final ultimatum is met with silence. Having Adrian’s ex returning after all these years stirs jealous thoughts too and adds fuel to a relationship that’s already going up in flames. The woman is poison and the tsunami she causes will leave devastation in its wake.

Worth a credit? Yes, it’s an addictive and compelling addition to the multi-layered Mafia Wars series and, as the dual POV storyline slowly spills its secrets, it’s tangled web and its villains and heroes, love does eventually conquer all. Great narration brought to life the sizzles and stream, the challenges and conflicts, the swoony romance, the anguish, drama and action and the full cast of characters that make up this dangerous (but drool-worthy and delicious) world that Maggie Cole has skilfully built. Each one can be a standalone.

this was good but

1st, I love the mafia wars series. the prior books were outstanding. personally I love strong female leads like Cora & Nora. Skylar, the female lead in this book was whiny, needy, low self esteem and suspicious. I basically finished the book to get more insight on the other characters.
