Tessa and Myles!

Tessa is looking forward to a girl’s trip with her twin sister and their two best friends to Greece, the place which holds so many wonderful childhood memories including her first crush even if she was too uncomfortable to act upon it. It has been years since she has been there when he was, so she didn’t expect to see him again or that the feelings she had for him are stronger than ever.

Myles has been living in NY while he studied hotel management and has recently returned to Greece to help his father with the family resort. When he sees Tessa, the sparks fly but not only are they battling the fact that he lives in Greece, and she lives in NY but lots of family turmoil as well.

Even though her sister did everything she could to derail the relationship between Tessa and Myles which caused some heartbreak along the way she did redeem herself in the end. Myles was the perfect mix of sweet and swoony and helps Tessa realize what will truly bring her happiness. I enjoyed the performance of the narrators as they brought out all the different aspects of the story and the characters.

Give me a Miles!

Loved this listen! Tessa and Miles were amazing. Was so invested in the story I caught myself tearing up a few times.

My first Meghan Quinn book. It was easy to get through. Good story. Plot. 🥰 Cute.

Not what I expect from Meghan Quinn

I have read/listened to all of her books and enjoy her immensely… but this was not her usual high quality characters, story, or pacing.
As others have said, way too much filler that served to detract and annoy rather than enhance the plot.

Also, both narrators grated on my nerves/ especially the male doing Tessa’s voice.

I was not rooting for the sister/ friend aspect of story/ instead I wanted Tessa ti scream “F off!” and grow up.

Tess needs new friends

If my friends and sister treated me like Tess’ do, I’d walk away. It was hard to listen to at times. They expected her to be like them instead of embracing her for being herself.

Good story but way too many f bombs

The overall story was good and enjoyable. However, the language…way too many unnecessary f bombs.

One of my favorite Standalones!

I’m typically a fan of series when listening to books but this standalone by Meghan Quinn is being saved under my Faves collection! I’ll definitely be revisiting it. It’s a lighthearted, family focused love story that pays homage to the childhood crushes we all had. A great escape, thanks Meghan!
