Such a heartfelt story!

When I decided to read this book, I was not aware of a character having Alzheimer's. It came at a perfect time in my life, when I am experiencing this at a distance. So while not first hand as Fallon's story, heartbreaking nonetheless. The book's love story is very original, the characters totally relatable, and the Alzheimer's insight gave it such an honest feel. The narration was excellent, two new narrators to me, they gave such feeling to the story. Truly recommended!

Loved it

I loved this book best book ever if I could give it 25 stars I would thank you Megan Quinn for such a good book. I enjoyed the storyline without having every other page 16 and you made it so beautiful when I fell in love and finally got together. Please send us more of those looking forward to more of your books.

Runaway Groomsmen was a refreshing romance with Quinn’s penchant for mischievous humor, a strong heroine, a swoon-worthy hero woven together in a way no one else can. Set in a small town, this is a slow burn romance that’s filled with relatable, and sometimes quirky, characters. Storytelling and finding your best life are central to Runaway Groomsmen. Narration by Haynesbridge and Brentmoor was perfect for the characters. I highly recommend!

Great Listen!

This story had me on the hook from the beginning. It’s not to often I literally LOL during a book but this one had me from the very beginning! Absolutely loved this story.

Perfection!

I’ve read a lot of romance and this story and performance by far dug it’s nails into my soul more than any other.
This isn’t your average romance it is a true LOVE story. You aren’t just reading/listening to one couples tale; you are given the privilege of hearing about the love story of Fallon’s grandparents, parents and the lifelong bond between a girl and her grandpa. There were many moments where the importance and impact of a person’s “realness” was discussed and I can’t say she could’ve done a better job of capturing the bitterly sweet, soul-crushing yet simultaneously life-giving honor that it is to love and care for your elderly family members.
Meghan managed to paint a picture of my lifelong dream location, community and relationships into this book. There were times I was wondering if Meghan was actually my sister using a pen name. She’s not, but that is how well this book matches up with both real life situations and daydreams I’ve had throughout my life. Down to the close relationship with her grandfather and the sarcastic back and forth between all of the main players. I mean, the use of the phrase “Jack Wagon;” which I have only heard people in my family use, just about snatched my soul! It was brilliantly and beautifully written and will be a frequently repeated read/listen for me!

Best Meghan Quinn book!

This is not like any other books of MQ that I’ve read. It is funny and sweet. Not over the top which I loved. The writing was so good. It gave me all the feels of a true love story. If you want hot and steamy, this isn’t the one for you. If you need, real self discovery, realish life embarrassment, dealing with very hard and real issues. This is the one. All the characters were perfect. Loved it!

Mostly good but

This was adequately cute. It had some spots that made me laugh out loud. But I really had issues with consent. Consent is really important to me, and a pushy “seduction” to me is not consent. So that was disappointing.

Not Bad

The exact opposite of a Runaway Bride is the best way to describe with the Cinderella blip based on him running an leaving a shoe behind. Cute small town story of basically starting over.

When did I start loving these Rom Coms?

Ok, when did I become a sucker for these rom-com sappy reads?! Ooof, but this one just melted my heart. Maybe because I have a dad who isn't yet diagnosed but is on the verge of Alzheimer's world, but this one just held my heart.

Meghan Quinn knows how to write, AND pull you in. And obviously, I'll be reading/listening more from her very soon
