Self promoting drivel

What a disappointment. This book may eventually get around to a discussion of Tantra, but I found myself growing old and weary waiting for that to happen. The beginning is excruciatingly slow and consists heavily of the author’s shameless self promotion. If you seek an exercise in patience, then this is the book for you. Otherwise, prepare to find yourself marooned on the island of soul sucking spiritual disappointment.

WONDERFUL listening - excellent narrator

I don't normally listen to books quite like this - but I felt invigorated and refreshed - very inspired by this one. I love the narrator Romy Nordlinger's soothing but authoritative and real tone and the content was SO heartfelt and real. Amazing!

Just the right balance between book and narrator

This is an unusual book and I highly recommend it. It’s one of those books you’re going to come back to after the first listen. The narrator is right on the button with her smart, sensitive delivery.

Affected narrator with artificially high pitched voice

I am really disappointed by Audible’s casting of this narrator to read this book. I am very interested in the book and respect the writer but the voice actress is SO INTOLERABLY AFFECTED that I just can’t do it. She has an artificially high pitch, clichéd interpretations and heavy breathing and after a few hours of trying I am going to put this down. This happens way too often with Audible and is a real bummer. If you’re thinking of buying this on audio listen to a sample first since you might want to read (not listen) to this one. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
