Great love story. I wish all of her books were audible. Totally enjoyed this book.

Passionate

This is a great storyline with a lot of feeling. You can feel the love and desire between the characters.

Story was Good, BUTT the reader's voice... OMG!!

It spite of the readers voice, "I LOVE THE STORY". I'm so glad I continued to indulge in this book. I'll be sure to read more from this author. Oh! the sex scenes are AMAZING...

Trying to get past the narration

I really wanted to get into this story because it seems like an interesting storyline. HOWEVER, if this is a melanated romance story, the male narrator should at least sound melanated. It’s not giving what it needs to give as an audiobook.

Great story bad accent

I really enjoyed the story line but it was hard to get pass the bad southern accent. I had to keep reminding myself to focus on the story and not the person narrating it. I plan to continue the series and hope to get through it without letting the accent turn me off.

Good Listen

Nothing special, but a good listen. It would have been better if narrated by R.C Bray.

Narrator’s Voice!

The narrator’s voice for Lucas was horrible. Actually for all of the male voices. They all sounded like they were out of breath or grunting when they talked. Like The cartoon character Batman. Not Sexy! It was very hard to visualize any of the male characters with that voice. And if Lucas was supposed to be from the south his accent was terrible! I want to continue on with the Johnson family because overall the storyline is decent. But I don’t know if I can handle that voice through three more stories!

Well read but not by someone from the culture...

The story was awesome, and the narrator was not horrible. I almost did not listen because of other reviews, but I am glad that I gave it a try. The narrator did not seem to be a man who has the same melanin composition as the cover model. He read well, but the cultural differences of cadence, tenor, and pronunciation make a difference.

I'm hooked!

The flow of story and the way it was narrated is so interesting that I didn't pause until I finished it. It's a great story, a realistic one. It has enough drama, enough sex scenes and sexy characters.

Delaney Diamond writes beautifully and consistently keeps me entertained. I absolutely love this story line.
