The author’s story is heart-wrenching as she lost her true love during the Covid-19 pandemic, but she has been able to capture her feelings in these lovely poems, which describe her life, her love, her family, and her loss. When listening to it, she will take you on a journey through gardens and to the stars and back as she describes her love, her faith, the heartache she has experienced, and the loss of her beloved. She also describes the challenges that have existed for her as she has suddenly become a single parent, having to care for two young children, but she also shows the strength she has as she raises to the challenge to do the best she can, yet always knowing that her husband is still with her in spirit encouraging her on. It is a beautiful book of poems that will lift you up and encourage you as you go through life.

Cathartic for Grief

The voice of the narrator was very calming, almost hypnotic. This was an experience. It felt as if I was listening to several different short stories. Really suits the mood.
