Jacob's self flagilation
I loved the book and in fact, the entire series. The only problem I have is with this last book. The way Jacob beats himself up over losses has gone to extreme to be believable. Also his support of a deserter who had endangered the ship and mission and resulted in the deaths of two crewmen is basically unbelievable. It's to far fetched and frankly stupid.

Grimm expands leadership
Grimm is becoming more of a delegator in his leadership style with other ship commanders and marine officers taking larger roles with success We see more politics in the Alliance. Well written and narrated, highly recommend

Tradition of Courage
