  • Five Lessons I Wish I Would Have Listened to About Life and Business
    Jun 30 2022
Five Lessons I Wish I Would Have Listened to About Life and Business1. You don't have to have it all figured out. Life is a journey, and we're all just along for the ride. This was something that I struggled with for a long time. I felt like I needed to have everything mapped out in order to be successful. But the truth is, that life is unpredictable and ever-changing. The best we can do is enjoy the ride and roll with the punches. We tend to put a lot of pressure on ourselves to have everything "figured out" by a certain age or milestone. But the truth is, nobody has it all figured out. And that's OK! Life is a journey, and we're all just along for the ride. Take small stepsCelebrate tiny winsTake time to recharge (take a break)  2. It's not about the destination but the journey.  This ties in with the first point. So often, we get so focused on reaching the goals that we forget to enjoy the process of getting there. But if you take the time to savor the journey, you'll find that it's just as rewarding as reaching the destination. Get more out of what you are doing - What are other ways to think strategically?Being grateful in the momentJournaling what's working and not working 3. You can't please everyone, so don't even try.  In business and life, you'll always have people who disagree with you and think you're doing it wrong. And that's OK! As long as you're true to yourself and your values, that's all that matters. Trying to please everyone is a recipe for disaster. You'll only end up pleasing no one, including yourself. So instead of trying to be everything to everyone, focus on being true to yourself and those who matter most to you. Focus on the relationships that matter most. Think of who really brings value Accept that some people are your people and some aren'tSet boundaries for everyone  4. Comparison is the thief of joy. It's so easy to fall into the trap of comparing ourselves to others. But I realized that everyone is on their own journey, and comparing myself to others was only holding me back from enjoying my own life. Apply what you have learned and what you see; don't copyUse others as fuel to push furtherThere will always be a first and a last. 5. Perfectionism is dangerous.  This is something that I'm still working on, and it's definitely a work in progress. But perfectionism can be crippling, both in life and in business. It can prevent you from taking risks and trying new things out of fear of failure. And it's important to remember that failure is a part of life; it's how we learn and grow.  If I could go back in time and give myself some advice, I would tell my younger self to stop being such a perfectionist. At the time, I thought that everything had to be perfect in order to be successful. I would spend hours agonizing over small details, and as a result, I often missed deadlines. Not only was this frustrating for me, but it also made me less productive. I have since learned that it is far better to focus on the big picture and let go of the need for perfectionism. This doesn't mean that we should tolerate sloppy work. But rather that we should strive for excellence rather than perfection. By learning to let go of my perfectionism, I have been able to achieve far more in both my personal and professional life. Done is better than perfectHow can you be perfect if you don't release it to the world Strive for excellence, not perfectionI'd like to leave you with these popular quotes:"Life is a journey, not a destination." - Ralph Waldo Emerson. "The best way to find out what we truly need in life is by experimenting." - Steve Jobs "Don't compare your chapter one to someone else's chapter twenty." - Unknown"You can't be everything to everyone." - Oprah Winfrey"Remember: life is an adventure, not a competition." - Unknown"These are just a few things I wish I had known sooner in life. But the reality is, that we all have to go through our own journey to learn these lessons. And that's OK! Just remember to enjoy the ride, and don't take yourself too seriously. Life is supposed to be fun, after all. I'm so excited to spend these 100 episodes with you. I have grown as a person because of you, and I will be forever grateful. However, now is time for a much-needed break from podcasting so I can begin to put focus on other areas of my life and business. I can't wait to return to share all I have gained through my journey, and I can't wait to hear from you!  Please follow me on IG @totalfitbosschick if you aren't already so you can see what I will be up to.

  • How To Harness The Power of Gratitude
    Jun 23 2022
How to Remain Positive when Dealing with Negative Situations and People

Each day, we are bombarded with negativity. The news is full of war, crime, and disaster stories, and it's easy to become wrapped up in our own problems.

It's no wonder that many people find it difficult to appreciate the good things in their lives. And accept the lessons out of the bad things.

Dealing with negative situations and people can be tough, but it's important to remain positive. After all, your attitude is a choice. And, as the saying goes, "attitude is everything." If you choose to have a positive attitude, you'll be more likely to see the good in people and situations. You'll also be more likely to find solutions to problems.

Of course, it's not always easy to stay positive. However, gratitude has the power to change our perspective and improve our well-being.

Focusing on what you're grateful for makes it harder to dwell on the negative. Another is to surround yourself with positive people. When you're surrounded by people who radiate positive energy, it's easier to keep your own spirits up.

Finally, don't be afraid to step into your next chapter. Sometimes the best way to move forward is to leave the past behind.

    The Power of Gratitude

We've all heard that it's important to be grateful for what we have. But what exactly does that mean? And why is it important?

Being grateful means more than simply saying "thank you." It's about acknowledging the good in our lives, even when things are tough. It's about recognizing that every day brings both challenges and blessings. It's about being present in the moment and appreciating the small things that make up our lives.

Gratitude has been shown to have a number of benefits for both our physical and mental health. People who practice gratitude are more likely to exercise regularly, eat healthy foods, and get enough sleep. They're also less likely to experience depression, anxiety, and stress. And gratitude doesn't just make us feel good; it also makes us more likely to help others and to engage in pro-social behavior.

Ready to Put the Power of Gratitude into Action?

When we take the time to be thankful for the good in our lives, we open ourselves up to more happiness, love, and joy. Gratitude allows us to see the world in a more positive light and provides us with the strength to face life's challenges.

So next time you're feeling down, take a moment to appreciate everything in your life. You may be surprised at how much better you feel. After all, life is an adventure. Embrace it!

  • Secrets on Scaling an Online Business While Still Holding Down a 9-5
    Jun 16 2022

In this episode of the Total Fit Boss Chick podcast, we're talking with

Libby Rothschild, founder, and CEO of Dietician Boss. She shares her secrets on scaling a business while still holding down a 9-5 clinical job. She has been featured in major publications and spoken at universities around the world about how she scaled 220% in a year without using paid ads or SEO - all from just one side hustle that grew into something much bigger than expected!

She was making $55,000 a year as a dietician, and she noticed that there was this massive gap in salary between her education and her income. So Libby decided to take her knowledge to social media and start their own business. She used her speaking and coaching side job and took it to video; before long other dieticians were asking to be coached as well.

With a small, targeted audience, Libby has been able to reach the million-dollar mark. She's continued her success by teaching others how they can too!

Tune into this show for some powerful techniques that will help you make more money with your online business even if things seem hopeless right now

Secrets on scaling a business online without running ads?

There are a million things to think about and a million more things that can go wrong. However, with careful planning and execution, it is possible to scale an online business successfully.

How did she get started? She documented her journey. Simply put, she recorded what she was doing and shared it with her social media community.

Here are four steps to scaling an online business

    Step 1

You have a business solving a problem

    Step 2

Create a separate business social account

    Step 3

Consistently show up, sharing all aspects of your life where you feel comfortable.

    Step 4

Build online relationships with others by commenting, DMing, and engaging (include large accounts, accounts at your level, and smaller accounts)

How do you manage to scale an online business without getting overwhelmed?

    Step 1

Use the 80/20 rule and prioritize the most important aspect that moves the need in your business. (What has worked and double down on it)

    Step 2

Do market research. What are related hashtags you can search to find more keywords, pain points, topics, and concerns in your space? What type of content are people creating, and who are the key players?

Build relationships with the key players and provide valuable engagement.

Growing and scaling an online business when you're just getting started.
    • Be focused
    • Build community
    • Learn pain points
    • Be relatable by sharing your story and talking about the market's pain points

How to grow and scale with a 9 to 5?

Sell a product without a service by creating a stream of passive income. Libby created a course. She was able to make money so she could spend her time marketing and talking about her market pain points. The process of talking about pain points and providing a solution became a passive stream of income.

Secondly, she provided private coaching. However, supply and demand go into effect. The more she was in demand, the more she increased the price of coaching because it required her time.

Then she transformed private coaching into a mastermind. Then she was able to take more clients and make more money with less time.

Libby invested in herself and her business, like her clients invested in her. Personal growth is a key component to success. Therefore, she has a mentor and works with mentees.

Are you ready to start scaling an online business while still holding down a 9-5?

The truth is, you don't have to give up one for the other. There are many successful business owners who are able to run their business from anywhere - even from a smartphone! You just have to have a plan, be organized, and be dedicated to making it happen. We hope that this podcast has helped you to see that becoming a successful entrepreneur doesn't have to mean forgoing your current life and career.
