Hooked immediately.

Wow, I hope to thank the author in person someday. I have dabbled for over 30 yrs I realized upon completion of this book without even knowing it. So happy to have come across this book to deepen my interest and then at around the 6th chapter a teacher found ME! So worth the listen, even for a skeptic! Just to absorb what it's really all about. Blessed Be!

Lots of information!

Way more information and several topics included I wasn't expected. Narrator was very good. Had to check and see if she authored it as she read with humor and emotion as it was written. Liked it and will purchase more from this author.

excellent must read for any new Wiccan

this book is an excellent introduction to the religion of Wicca and how to practice it. I highly recommend it however I also now understand why RavenWolf is so controversial among witches.... take what she says with a grain of salt as some of it is falsely assumed, untrue and contradictive.

It's ok. The narrator made it seem childish

if you are truly interested in pagan and wicca practices, you're better off gleaning all that you can from a variety of sources. This all in one resource is very basic. what made it difficult to complete was the reader. I'm sure she's excellent in reading women's novels or menopausal fiction, in this she just made it sound like she was our nosy all knowing next door neighbor gossiping and giving us recipes. It felt and sounded condescending. one good thing that I did remember was she recommended other authors of "the craft", as she termed it. giving credit where credit is due. so only read this if you have zero information and you're starting from scratch
and take it with a pinch of salt, to cleanse.

Do not purchase if you listen while driving

First and foremost - ** it suggests you purchase a notebook or binder book to take notes, etc. so, if this is not your kinda thing, DO NOT GET THIS BOOK!!!!!

This book is alright, it houses A LOT of information. I usually listen at work or while driving so this was irritating as I'd be absorbed in the book and hear "now take out your notebook and write...." and I'd have to pause it and pick it back up and try again. Which was hard, cause I usually like an "easy listening" kinda book that takes me away, and I get lost in the story and I don't realize x amount of hours have passed.

I got through about 5 hours of this book before deciding to return it as I feel it is just TOO much to take in audible form, I felt like it was a chore at some points. I really wanted to learn and listen, but it was just A LOT and it wasn't easily broken down in bite-sized easily understood pieces. I will instead try picking up another book of the same realm for easier reading, highlighting and concentration.

It's also important to mention that this book has some information I could NOT find online, a lot of things were either mis-matched (moons + months, for example) or, completely different. So I'm not sure if things have changed since the writing of this book or the author just does things a certain way. But, a lot of things were the same throughout some websites BUT differed from this book. So, that's another thing to keep in mind. The performance was great, but I would not be repurchasing another book from this author and I will not be finishing this one.

Very enjoyable

Overall this book is wonderful. Some of what the author says I personally do not agree with. But I do recommend this book for those who are interested in the craft. Just follow your heart and be the best you can be. No one is perfect. Blessed Be! 🌒🌕🌘
