A decent Introduction

A Decent introduction to Paganism as seen through the eyes of the authors. I will say that the authors views of Judaism in the chapter on Satan/Evil is somewhat misinformed.

I love this book!

I have been reading and listening to various books on witchcraft. I would suggest this as a first read for anyone who is new or exploring Paganism. I also love the thought provoking journal activities. Well done.

solid introduction

Excellent introductory book on paganism that helped me understand concepts, ideas and ethics. This book helped me work through my concerns and understand myself better with respect to my personal beliefs.

Warning: THIS BOOK IS GREAT!

I literally ate this book alive! I listened to this book as much as I could. Very well written extremely knowledgeable on the universe both from a pagan based standpoint as well as a scientific standpoint. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in Paganism, the cosmic universe, or religion of any kind. Thanks for a great read!

One of the very few MUSTS in Paganism

I am new to the idea of paganism, was very informative. I finally felt that I found a home spiritually. very good writing and the narrator was awesome.

How many times can you say the word Pagan?

There is some very good information but the overuse of the word Pagan is wretched. I thought about not finishing the book but it was expensive. Too bad.

This book, by Joyce and River Higginbothan, was introduced to me as a free Audio book. I am a Heretic Pagan so was drawn to accept the free listen offer! I loved this book so much I bought the audio version on Audible and purchased the printed book as well. The way this book flows from topic to topic is so well done, the listen was extremely easy with its smooth yet informative flow. Young children, teens and adults of all religions can and will gain a great deal from this book, This book is, informative, educational, inspiring and makes the reader or listener think. I truly love this book, well done ladies, It was also well read. I am inspired, feel inspired, light and happy. This book is a must listen, must read, must own. Thank you for your wonderful work.

The first chapter is just talking about her own background views. The second chapter is when it really gets into helping you follow and study this path. I very much enjoyed this book!! I soaked it all in.
