A pleasant surprise!

This sat in my library, having fallen asleep a couple of chapters in I wasn't initially impressed enough to listen on.... I was SO wrong! And I am SO glad I gave it another try, it is truly a gem!

It is a well written regency romance with enough of a side plot about the war in France to keep it from being called "fluff".

The narration was just as good. My only complaint is that the last couple of chapters had two characters with the same voice.... it was only a moment of confusion as the personalities were clear!

I got this thru audible escapes, but its entirely creditworthy, relatively clean (almost totally), and quite enjoyable!
