OMG! NOW WHAT DO I DO?

The best series I've ever read. Can't wait for book 3. I love everything about this series. Only thing missing is a cat. Nora needs a kitty. Can't wait to read Witch of Blackbird Pond. Such great book recommendations !

Really Lovely bookish mystery

This is the second book taking place in Miracle Springs. Great characters, well developed & beautifully flawed. The mystery is clever enough that it can’t be guessed immediately and nicely developed. Recommend both books - the audible edition is well narrated

Pretty good

This is a pretty good follow up to the first book in the series. The characters and plot are well developed. I look forward to seeing what happens next in this series.

I like these women

The Whispered Word is the second book in the Secret Book & Scone Society series. Although it can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the first book before this one as it introduces the characters, their histories and their relationships. This one would not be as good without reading that one first.

A cozy mystery series set in the small town of Miracle Springs, North Carolina, it features four women who are good friends. They find themselves embroiled in solving some big problems. The plots are not too surprising or the twists too big. What makes these books special is the stories of how these women make their livings and how they got here. The backstories are unique and interesting and really flesh out the characters making them more relatable and real.

REALLY GREAT STORY! LOVE ALL THE LADIES AND THEIR FRIENDSHIPS!! THE MYSTERY AND SURPRISES ARE SO MUCH FUN!!

Not all the clues are discovered

My only complaint is that the mystery can't be solved just by paying attention to the clues in the story. Once the ending is near the rest of the missing information is given by the main character. I think it's "cheating" when the listener isn't given the chance to solve the mystery by paying close attention to the story.

Enjoyable

Great characters and loved the story.
I will read her next book next. This story is a caring story of independent women.
