Publisher's Summary

Many of us struggle to truly live what we believe spiritually. What if closing that gap wasn’t about trying harder, but something quite the opposite? “Through the practice of ego relaxation,” explains Miranda Macpherson, “we can stop trying to beat ourselves into spiritual shape and yield instead to an unshakable presence within.”

The Way of Grace is an invitation to let go of the need for control, release our fears, and learn to be open and undefended with what is. Using teaching stories, guided meditation, self-inquiry practices, prayer, and more, Macpherson takes us step by step through the liberating process of undoing our fixed egoic patterns as we explore the four dimensions of Grace: “Relaxing into the Ground of Grace,” “Receiving the Blessings of Grace,” “The Transforming Power of Grace,” and “Living Gracefully in the World.” The Way of Grace is a journey to the heart of spiritual surrender to unfold the essential qualities of our true nature - joy, peace, wisdom, and boundless love.

The revelations of the practices of presence and love

I absolutely loved everything about this book. I bought the paper book first and in it , wrote notes to correspond to audio sections so I could reference the most meaningful passages. They are all extremely meaningful. Miranda’s voice is like a dearest trusted friend which I turned to often to center myself in the things and concepts which at my heart have always agreed with my inner being, but were squeezed out by my ego, fears and the world. I couldn’t wait to learn everything she taught which has been helping me to integrate where I “was” with where I want to head. I would recommend this book to anyone with a love of the mysticism of all religions and of life it self, and who wants to grow in that vain. Miranda gives several practices to help you sustain the goal of radiating love to yourself, your dear and near ones and the world, which can be incorporated in your personal needs or shared with a trusted friend or group. I well up with thanksgiving to her, the divine and life through this experience.

Great source for Inquiry questions

Great speaking performance by Miranda. Relaxing to listen to and full of insights. I especially found the inquiry questions she presents as mind stilling and ego loosening...

MM Miranda Macpherson is a spiritual marilyn

With penetrating sincerity, gentleness MM’s delivery of her transformative book is second to none. Simply put wisdom shrouded with personal revelations and efficacious meditations! Thankfully an unapologetically feminine spiritual teacher educating the erotic human animal to the garden of nondual truth, the Self!

Beautiful and Very Practical

Miranda shares her personal journey, transformation and the tools that helped her along the way. I resonated with a number of the meditations and contemplations. They were perfectly suited for audio. I look forward to putting an number of her recommendations into use.

Obviously not for everyone

Had listened to a few books including Michael Sayer and stumbled across this one, which had fewer reviews but all highly rating this book.

The content might be brilliant but I found the narration quite drony and boring and after just over an hour of listening realised I wasn’t getting into this book at all. It didn’t grasp or connect with me and therefore can only surmise it just isn’t for everyone.

So grateful

I've been listening to this for several months - these teachings are accessible, loving, meaningful and so very helpful. I'm very grateful to have found this book and teacher. Compassion and encouragement feel both grounded and boundless in her work and I know I'll continue to listen for many years to come.
