One Star is not low enough

I have read many Barbara Cartland books over my lifetime. This is a terrible representation of what is a lovely short time away from serious concerns. I was so very disappointed by the heroine, dialogue and plot. No suspense, predictable and frankly corny. Why disgrace her legacy of romance by publishing this? I have a lifetime of Grace Livingston Hill and Barbara Cartland escapes but this book bordered on annoying most of the time.
