Publisher's Summary

This program will change the way you think about work (and everything else)....

Imagine going to work each day feeling energized, excited, and ready for anything that comes your way. No more struggling with stress or burnout. No more personality clashes. Impossible? Not according to Michael A. Singer, who served as founding CEO of a billion-dollar corporation where this fantastic vision became a reality every day of the week.

Before he was the author of The Untethered Soul and The Surrender Experiment, Singer was working at his own company exploring and refining the spiritual insights and tools he would share with millions through his best-selling books. With The Untethered Soul at Work, join him for a rare audio presentation on applying these insights in your own workplace. This two-part program brings you practical wisdom on 10 common business challenges, including finding fulfillment at work, the art of conscious communication, creativity and problem-solving, and much more.

“Everything that happens at work is a chance for us to offer our full selves - our love, our passion, our creativity - in service of the miraculous moment unfolding before us,” explains Singer. The Untethered Soul at Work will transform the way you think about the concept of work, while opening you to greater joy, connection, and satisfaction in your own chosen field.

Brilliant Arguments to Accept What Is

I resonate and love his Taoist-ish perspective to allow experience to flow through you. I disagree with his view to stay on a job or a relationship that has run its course (because it is only a resistance to dig deep that is causing us to want to move on). With the intention of being harmonized with the Way, sometimes we have to make decisions to bail in order to grow and expand our life expression.

So overall, I'm intrigued by the strength of arguments presented, but put off by the patriarchal tone.

Dissatisfied

The 1st half of the book is just a bunch of rambling, and all over the place nothing to do with work. The 2nd half was good and helpful, but the 1st half was so terrible it killed the experience

great listen full of insight

My only complaint is it was short. I think we all need to be reminded of the rich advice contained in this book. I'll be listening to it again and again until I feel it's engrained in me and then I'll listen again. Michael Singer is fulfilling a powerful call on his life, this is another example.

practical application needed.

would have loved to hear more about the "how" versus the "what". practical application to these methods were missing.

Great thinker, but take what works for you

There’s definitely wisdom in Singer’s teachings, but eventually I felt like he ends up talking at you with a belittling tone. This was about when I noticed the strong undertones of his worldview and gnosis, which are pretty much portrayed as a one and only option. I’m content just sticking with the original Untethered Soul and referring back to it from time to time.

Blew me away

This book is eye opening and is an invitation to practice waking up fully to what is. What a relief of stress to realize that other people are not the problem. I have a lot of deep gratitude and appreciation for Micheal S. for sharing his thoughts and methods. One of the biggest take aways of this book is to keep an open heart! Hope you will enjoy it as well! Asè❤️

Quick, easy, powerful

Easy listen with profound insights for those who wish to deeply self reflect. Michael Singer gives the insights in the boon directly, clearly, and with no extra fluff. It's rare to have someone give you a reality check in such a light hearted manner.

Condescending

I couldn't finish this book. The author sounds condescending and unscripted. Occasionally, he would say something and chuckle (as if he just realized how brilliant that statement was). He makes it sound as if the solution is simply changing your view. He states that stress is the result of either fear or desire. The problem is you - either resisting what's happening or wanting something that isn't there. While ultimately it may boil down to that, this book doesn't deliver that message well.

Want to be mocked and preached to?

I loved the Untethered Soul so was pleased to see this but the audio version of this book is awful. Singer preaches at you, mocks and almost shouts at you. Now makes me wonder if I over valued his original book or whether the audiobook version of that would be as bad. I found it so aversive that I couldn’t finish the book

I love this guy

I am now living my life as Michael suggests ever since reading the original Untethered Soul book. This book is specific to work and it’s just sublime. I wish there was a book for every aspect of life, but I guess there doesn’t need to be. Truly inspiring, and breaks it all down so nicely. The very fact that I was recommended this book at the very moment I needed to hear it is proof that his stuff is working for me. So much appreciation and gratitude for this man and his teachings ❤️❤️❤️

I really like how the author presents how working a job can be your journey to enlightenment.

Didnt enjoy as much as Surrender/original untether

Didnt enjoy as much as Surrender/original untethered soul. No mind-expanding realisations about applying spirituality in the environment most of us will spend 60-70% of our time on earth in.

Absolute gold

Michael Singer has such a gift for relaying his message. His delivery is clear and entertaining at the same time. I love his voice and his humour.
This is the type of book you will want to listen to over and over again because it’s full of so much wisdom . No doubt he is a visionary messenger who has truly lived what he teaches. Every soul on earth would do well to read this book. Thank you Michael Singer.

Michael Singer is one of life’s answers to so many of our questions.

Once again Michael Singer has changed my thinking.
I first read the “untethered soul” and it literally changed my brain and how I think.
I didn’t think there could be anymore really significant changes until I read the untethered soul at work.
From emails, phone calls, meetings and unsatisfied jobs to the possibilities of enjoyment, creativity and a fulfilling life of service.
The humble job can never be the same again after reading this book and neither will you.

So rewarding on some many levels.

Compares Poorly to the book

This is a recording of a lecture and pretty underwhelming. I am a fan of the Untethered Soul and the Surrender Experiment - perhaps 2 of the best life guides on the planet. This audio fell well short of those masterpieces.

Don’t bother

Tells some basic truths in an overly convoluted way and struggles to make the points in a way that will resonate or have an impact. If you want the benefits that this book attempts to provide there are other books that do it far better.
