Couldn't stop listening

This book had me in a chokehold and I loved every minute of heartbreak and happiness it put me through. The writing style of this series is amazing, but I honestly love all of Monty's books because of this!

Both Rook and Sage have past trauma and are so beautifully imperfect as a result, but I truly loved their growth. I loved their secrets together and the enemies to lovers vibes they have - it was perfect for them and the plot of this book! And the spice between them, holy smokes....that confessional scene!! Need I say more! Rook could burn me any day and I'd beg for more.

I will say my heart broke so hard for Silas in this book....he's such a tortured soul and I just want to give him the biggest hug.

I loved the book but the luckier or him calling himself luckier got a little weird it was almost like does he really think he's the devil

Still my fave

Rook and Sage have always been my favorite, this the audiobook solidified that. The angst, the heartbreak, the way they love each other is just everything, and the end of this one. My. Heart.

Loved it

This book was good and love how now they can burn the world together. The way you still get all the other characters as well but still on main characters. Filling in where the questions lay. Off to the next book

Dark and Disturbed....I LOVED it!!!

WOW! If you thought Alistair was bad, wait until you hear Rook's story! You really can't help but feel bad for everything he's gone through.

Once AGAIN Lucy and Grayson knocked this one out of the park. The way Grayson was able to capture each of Rook's moods and moments is mind blowing. I wish I had more words to describe how amazing they are as narrators and narrating together. Simply phenomenal.

there's not a single thing I don't absolutely love

When I tell you I can't sing enough praises about this book! Oh my gosh I am obsessed, committed, and hung up on this series. I had no interest in Rook in book one, but when I tell you I am feral for this man in this book. The suspense and overall arc plot to these stories is just insanely captivating. The character development has me so invested in this series I can't put it down. This man loves fire, and I swear if you gave him a match and a little bit of gasoline, he'd set the world ablaze for this girl. The angst and banter is on point for an enemies to lovers. The betrayal is gut wrenching. The bromance between the guys is honestly heartwarming. There's not a single thing I don't absolutely love about this book. I even teared up a little when we got to see the past with Rosemary and the scene with Silas at her grave just about crushed me. I ate this audiobook up in a day flat.

Narration:
The pairing of Lucy and Grayson is just absolutely phenomenal. I am so in love with narration. The emotional scenes with Rosemary were done so well by both. It brought out a lot of feels. This is a duel style narration.

Dark and Tainted!

I liked Rook and Sage’s story so much more than Alistair and Briar’s. At least the romance side of things. Their story was well written and perfectly paced for this story’s I like that they balance each other out. And who doesn’t love a good enemies to lovers. The plot like in book one is great! I love how it spans over the series. I can’t wait for Thatcher and Lydia’s duet. Though I am curious why they needed 2 books!

The Pyro and the Mean Girl

An unlikely couple where the mean girl falls for the outcast bad boy who loves fire. This couple starts in high school but then reconnects after the death of the FMC twin sister. Check your trigger warnings because there is many sensitive subjects mentioned.
Rook is pierced and was made to corrupt. Sage goes through a lot mentally and physically but goes from the girl who cares too much to the girl that gives no f*cks. This is perfect if you like the Devils Night Series
