With the town's own anniversary—the cursed Founders Day—drawing near, crime levels rise and the annual murders begin. This year, the deaths take on a new twist: the killer is copying the murders from Arlie's books.

As suspicions surrounding the stranger grow, Arlie must solve the mysteries she's spent years writing. In a race against time, Arlie must stop the killer she may have created before he takes out the last victim from her books—her.

Was excited to see where the story was going.

twist ending was good! Story a smidge slow but it kept me hanging on. I was pretty surprised. Would definitely try more by this author. Loved the narrator.

If you are looking for just a few hours of entertainment, you found it. Great twist at the end that made the main characters relationship make so much more sense. Narrator was excellent.

Held my attention the entire time

A great short story listen. The plot and characters kept me intrigued the entire time and there was a surprise twist at the end! Hope to see more in this series.
