Dr. Seuss is most children's' first introduction to literature, and this is the perfect way for young minds to learn where books come from, and how people just like them can turn their life experiences into magic by using their imagination. Amba Brown's words adeptly imitate the whimsical rhyme and meter of Seuss, and James Voltz's charming voice makes the listening experience as pleasant as a lullaby. A treat for the precocious young Seuss fan and anyone young at heart.

Extremely charming! The Dr. Seuss-inspired rhyme scheme was an added surprise, and the narrator was very charismatic. Accessible to young children while also being honest about the ups and downs of young Ted’s early life, it’s a great gateway to Dr. Seuss for new readers, and for children who are already Dr. Seuss fans, a fun opportunity to learn more about a beloved writer.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

TLDR; It's like Dr.Seuss wrote his life story as one of his books.

Normally I'm not big on Biographies, but this was a really endearing listen. I'm not going to lie this won't change your life in any way, it's just a cute short book. If you ever read Dr. Seuss books growing up then give this a quick listen it's well worth the 15 minutes and a fun way to learn a bit more about the author.

Overall, well worth 15 minutes of your time.
