take a cultural ride
The author does a great job reading her own book. She also does well illustrating the warmth and hospitality of the people of the Middle East and Anatolia. The book is all about the cultures of the lands she traveled through and very little about athletic endeavors.

Excellent introduction to the people of the Middle East
Very well read by the author. I feel like I got to know the countries she traveled through much better than I did before. I liked the historical/political background she adds to the anecdotes.
