A secret you want to hear because its phenomenal!

So this was the first book I have read/listen to by this author but something pulled me to this book! I also am not normally a paranormal & shapeshifter Reader but like I said that I was drawn to this book. I'm very happy that I gave it and the author a shot. This book hit all the feelers and I mean all the feelers! It had me on the edge of my seat wondering Wtf and what's going to happen next and Wtf why did that have to happen! This book had my head spinning like it was on a TILT-A-WORLD ride but I. The best possible way! The ending was so beautifully written and pulled together that you just knew but not really knew that that was how it was supposed to be! Due to this book I will be checking out more by this author definitely! For my first read by the author I am greatly impressed especially since I may be interested in reading more paranormal /shapeshifter books! This was totally not what I was expecting but I'm 100% satisfyingly grateful for the read!

Now about the narrators they knocked it out of the park and maybe that's why I loved the book more. I truly feel that narrators can add more to the life of a book, make it meh, it's ok or they can ruin the book. In this case I feel they brought each and every character to another dimension in the story. I love how both narrators give more life to the world that the author has created. These narrators go the extra mile when reading the story such as actually laughing or making the animal sounds or other sounds that you wouldn't get if it was someone else doing the narrative. I truly love these narrators and will be looking for more books narrated by them to find new authors that way as well! Thank you. Time the author and the narrators for a great read/listen and for a great escape!

Awesome Story!!

I am a Golden fan and couldn't wait to get my hands on this book. I haven't had the time to read it yet, so I was more then excited to get to listen to it. Golden does write an amazing story that is bought more to life by Wen and Kai. I only read/listen to one paranormal author since it really isn't my thing, but that is for a great reason! This a story about friendship and love with some angst, drama, and craziness thrown into the mix! Grab it and enjoy!!

Excellent narration

Well you can’t really go wrong with Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott — they really brought the story to life. Golden Czermak is a new author for me. I enjoyed the story but got worried as it didn’t seem to be resolving as I got closer to the end. Although the current drama was resolved, there was so much left open that I felt somewhat let down, hence 4 stars rather than 5 I will be looking for the next book.

I need more of Cooper Bennett

I need more of Cooper and Alyssa’s love story. I’m sure they will have more to come and the town of Goodman, GA.

Need to know if Grayson Manning excepts Cooper as family or foe in the future. Want to know what happens to all the wonderful characters ; Ásbjörn, Billy and Dax.

First time hearing Wen Ross or Kai Kennicott and really enjoyed the dual narration of the story. Wen’s voice has the exact timber I would have imagined of the male characters.

Loved it!

I fell in love with the cover for this book, and had to have it on my iPad. I haven't read a paranormal book in forever, so it seemed an opportune time to get stuck into one. With the book having a large cast, Kai and Wen's talents are on full display. Having said that, they could read my shopping list and I'd probably listen to it. I can't wait for more, and I'm sure Golden is already working on that. ;)

Most Definitely. Golden develops his characters well, makes his stories entertaining, and keeps the reader/listener engaged.

What about Kai Kennicott and Wenn Ross ’s performance did you like?

Wen and Kai are a fabulous team. They consistently play off each other and bring the story to life, giving an extra audio boost not done by other duo narrators.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I wish I could have.

the story like all Goldens other books, kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish leaving me wanting more.

Not only did Golden do wonders bringing the story to life on the page, Wen Ross did another spectacular job of bring the world to life with his voice.

Impressed

The story was enjoyable. With characters that I hated as well, but that is given.
Golden killed it this one and the narrator’s.
I am interested to see what else his cooking up.

*Usually I don’t listen to this type of books, but I am glad that Nicole Garcia sent this for me for free to review it.
