Such a timely topic -especially for America!

The story was sad and a fascinating look as what happens when people act so very selfishly!

Eye-Opening

This is based on the factual situation of forced adoptions - it is heart-breaking and illuminating.

Sabina learns in her 30s, when expecting her first child, that she was adopted at birth. The book traces the experiences of her birth mother and her adoptive mother, and is told in rotating chapters by all three women. Well done and absorbing.

Great book!!

This is my 3rd book by Ms. Rimmer and honestly, it keeps getting better. She describes emotions really really well. It’s impressive. And i feel pulled in and can see all points of view. I’m so impressed with her.

Heartbreaking

I loved this book, so good to hear the story from three different perspectives.

I couldn't stop listening to this book. It kept pulling me back in. It's a wonderful story of family, strangers, love, understanding and forgiveness.

Masterfully Done

Kelly Rimmer is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. She has the ability to weave a story masterfully! I truly enjoyed listening to this book. The story characters became alive to me and I felt their heartbreak and happiness as I joined in their life journeys. The narration was perfection.

Great Story

Very good story about a painful time in history. It takes place in Australia but that is not the only place such things happened. Good character development. Good story. I've listened every available minute since I started the book.

Raw and real

This book depicts emotions in a refreshing new way.
Perspective is not often disguised in such raw form.

As an adopted adult I resonated with all the characters.
