How can you love every character?!

First let me say that I am a fan of this author and enjoy her books. I particularly love the audio books written by Kristen. The narration is always perfection. In this book, I found that I loved every character other than David’s dad. Each person had deep character building throughout the novel and I loved Angie’s mom Maria just as much as I loved Angie and Lauren. I laughed. I cried. I actually sobbed at one point. Wonderful book and I highly recommend!!!

Touches every corner of mothering

First love, true love, family love, hurtful love, healing love. All included in so many ways that most all of us will connect & care & smile & hurt & cry & feel love. What touching caring maddening book of love. Thank you!!

Beautiful story! It was really hard to put down. It brought together the family we are born with and the family we choose really well.

Not my favorite book by this author. Just finished it and left with a “meh” feeling. Very loyal to this author but this book just didn’t resonate with me.

love the honesty of the story

thank you for showing another side of a mother's love from those that can't have children. For given hope of love when creator has different plans for a woman.

Narration was perfect and the story line was good.

I can,t say too much about this book because whatever I say will give it all away. It's a wonderful book and all I can say is, the ending will tug at your heart. Leave it to Kristen Hannah to write a book that will stay with me a long time.
