I like books that are a series. Get frustrated when the whole series is not available.

Narrorater has a saliva issue

Great story, but it was a hard listen. Narrorater saliva issue, constant swallowing noise and 'wet' speech was frustrating.

Great Book

I love the Eve Duncan series, but also greatly this book focused on Sarah, Logan, Monty, and Maggie. I hope we keep in touch with them in future Eve books!

Over the top masculine characters.

I have read several of Iris Johansen‘s books and while listening to this book I realized that I was not enjoying the characters. The male characters always seem over the top masculine with unlimited power to manipulate the women in the book and then they fall in love. I just didn’t enjoy it. It didn’t seem realistic enough.

Amazing dog, gripping story

Full of information explaining how Search and Rescue dogs can find the impossible to find.
Wrapped around a nail biting storyline. This is a really good read. Johansen sprinkles humor throughout to cut the tension, and Barbara Rosenblat brings the characters to life through her excellent narration.

Performance Review

I rated the performance a rating of 2 because the different voices had differences volumes. When the narrator was speaking as a woman, it was easy to hear but when she was speaking as a man it was too quiet. If I turned the volume up loud enough to hear the men clearly, I got blasted out by the women.
