Good book. Not for me.

If you are someone who loves romance set against the backdrop of a hint of danger, this is for you. This is the kinda book with the classic male and female leads - he is dark, brooding and mysterious; she is soft, feminine and idealistic - who hate each other at first and grow to love each other after peeling away the layers from each other. If this is your type
Of book, you will love this. The romance isn’t even too heavy and front and centre - though, many scenes fall into the stereotypical behaviors that you would expect.

This is not my type of book so I stopped midway through - not because it’s a bad story or poorly written, just not something that caught my interest based on my preference.

Give it a try if you like romance and if you don’t mind that a (fairly decent) plot is contrived and used as a vehicle to propel love interests towards each other.

Good story, a bit predictable at times, but the narrator was splendid! Will definitely check out what else she has narrated.

I read this story years ago, somehow lost the book so when I found it on here and in audible you can imagine how excited I was.

My fave Iris Johansen

I read this a while back…and just finished Audible. I couldn’t remember any of the plot points so it was like a new book to me. Sweet. So good.

Fun read as always!

I've been an Iris Johansen fan since I was probably too young to be reading her books lol. I read this book years ago and listening to it was just as fun as the first time.
