Book was ok. perp was a surprise. More action than talk. - not into romance so found that distracting. Reader was good.

Narrator is awful.

I really wanted to hear this book, but it's hard to focus on the book when the narrator sounds very robotic and is irritating.

THIS was real thriller!

This was a great read (listen)! The performance was exceptional! I'll be heading to download more of Tami Hoag's work. I've read a prior work, but this performance really brought her great writing to life.

Absolutely Great

Really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. The story was great and very interesting but I deducted a star because I figured out who the murderer was before I was halfway through the audiobook. Even with that issue I found the title to be more than a little entertaining.

Didn't see the ending coming.

Another great mystery by Tami Hoag. And I love that women are always so empowered in her books.

Not a huge fan of the story

Love Tami Hoag’s stories, but this one came up short. The story kept going over and over details that we already had heard. Do we have dementia? Or are we just filling up pages with already used story lines? I was disappointed.

More of a Drama than Thriller

Written as a drama and interpersonal turmoil. If your looking for a thriller this won’t satisfy.

Narration was absolutely terrible

Enjoyed the storyline but couldn't get past the terrible narration. The narrator's voice was annoying, and I considered stopping the book several times. No one in real life speaks like the narrator did. it was ridiculous.

great story, but enough with the breathy falsetto

Decent reading in other respects, but a woman's voice can be conveyed without using a register higher than than used by most women, or excessive breathiness. This effect fails most spectacularly when it is used to convey the shouting of an assertive woman.

Overall very suspenseful, but a little gory

i really didn't need the details of burning bodies as much as was presented & the story certainly kept me guessing. I just hope there are not a lot of these kind of real serial killers running around.
